Thanks Buddy! So they are cutting the grooves in the concrete as I type. But when they got here I walked outside to this:

Merry Christmas everybody!

Looks like you are getting a quality job done! Wire mesh on the interior slab, double drain tile. Looks like your Xmas is white also!!

I've been real happy with the workmanship of the guys from Helitech. They've been very professional and went above and beyond what they needed to do. The only mistake they made was hitting the septic line but that was a cheap and easy fix, I consider what could have happened on such a large project and feel blessed that it went so well! I asked the concrete guy how many bag mix they were using and I was previously told they use 6 bag mix so I wanted to make sure that's what I was getting. Well he told me I was getting 8 bag mix!
I just got back from breakfast and they are gone. The floor is scored and then they hosed all the dust out. I'm going to stay away and let it all dry. I'll go down on Tuesday and put my washer and dryer back. I need to redo some wiring while it's all open. I found out the furnace was on the same circuit as most of the lights. I remember if I was doing laundry, had the lights on, furnace or AC running and I had the stereo cranked up I'd always blow the circuit breaker!

Well it was 5 degrees when I woke this morning. The electo/oil radiator in my bedroom was barely keeping up. The rest of the house was at 65 degrees which is great considering. Even the basement is decent with just a single radiator type space heater. My old style heater was still set on 1200 watts so I clicked it up to 1500 and in the last hour it's brought the living room up to 68 so all is good. I'm hoping the new furnace shows up today and we can install it in the next couple of days. My office, where I'm typing at, is on the coool side. My fingers are feeling it! Friday it gets to 28 but drops to 4 overnight with a high of 12 on Saturday. Negative 2 by Sunday morning. Hope I'm back on gas by then! The fact is I'm shocked that 4 space heaters are doing as well as they are. The good thing is I'm not worried about my beer getting warm!

My buddy just left and I have heat. He got the unit unpacked and mostly set up yesterday then came back today and we finished it up. The new units are a lot shorter so he had to make up some new ductwork. So now the whole house is the same temp and my fingers aren't freezing!

Well today was the day! All new concrete was poured. Back porch which they enlarged, front porch which they enlarged and a new driveway which cost extra but it was severely shot. As soon as I shrink the photo's I'll post a few.
