I hold to the hope that actors I DON'T hear from in times like today with lots of turbulence...are people who DON'T share the general Hollyweird mentality and Liberal attitudes. Either they're smart enough to know how bad the Liberal mentality is...or they're smart enough to keep their mouths shut and not try and impart their beliefs on others, and they're not out trying to "punch a Nazi" or "blow up the White House". Either way, that garners some respect from me. Folks like Leno, Tim Allen, Harrison Ford...guys I like are being quiet at the moment, politically. And I'll take it. Folks who feel obligated to force their views down my throat because "they're right and I'm wrong and here's why"....that pisses me off. | ||

Take away a man's incentives and they have no purpose. Take away a man's purpose and they have no value. Take away a man's freedom and they are subjects. Like any true authoritarian regime the aim is to eliminate the need for religion and even the value of self for the sake of the collective...at least that is the lie. The true aim is to have people quietly wish away their rights and let slip their control over all things for the sake of the almighty State. They claim racism is the reason the law of the jungle has overtaken self blighted urban areas, when it's all really going to plan. Therein lies the true utopia, where the wealthy and connected live lives everyone can envy, and everyone else is left to fend for themselves in a self inflicted world of mediocrity. Those insulated from the undesirables that have helped create such cultures can live their lives feeling morally superior so long as such things don't infect their cozy neighborhoods. Anyway, it's probably tough for people like Julie to interact with people that believe that the entire basis of their worldview is pseudo intellectualism, junk science, bad philosophy, and poor politics. There's a reason they don't interact with the unenlightened for long...and often show signs of further disturbance as they go. | ||

What is sad is that Russia has brute-forced our Democracy. All I've done is exhibit what can be easily accomplished by just mentioning some usernames on a Google-Indexed website such as Badweatherbikers.com and how easy it is to manipulate the search algorithms employed by every ISP, Government, Regulating Body, Authoritarian that controls what we consume. Now, consider a foreign power. Plenty of money, knowlege, and technology. Badweb is just a small community of maybe ~100 active users. Sites like Facebook and Twitter have access to trillions of users. Think about that. The population of the USA is ~300 million. That is easy targeting for a foreign power, especially since over 80% of that population has Internet access, to launch and succeed at a massive social media brute-force attack. I can't help you all much more, it's obvious that yall have been won over by the Trump/Russian Oligarchs that are only concerned with building their wealth out of your money. Good luck. I'm not sure what sounds crazier. The idea that nobody here understands how things like Google searches can be manipulated, or the idea that the Russians did such a thing to help Trump. Given recent news, I think I've got to go with the latter. The collusion between the Russians and Hillary/DNC has become undeniable. The Russians already knew, through prior experience, that Hillary could be bought. It's becoming more laughable, every new cycle, to think they would have been working to benefit Trump. And yes, that was probably Julie's most coherent post. Then you have her hateful personal attacks, that have been a consistent theme in her posts, and now admission of intent to do harm.  | ||

The whole Trump Russia collusion conspiracy appears to have started as a deflection during the campaign when the Hillary Uranium One deal details were being rehashed. It has morphed into many forms, though has little substance in any case. There's the "hacked the election" buzz term. That's not how things work and has effectively no basis in reality. There's the "collusion" angle. Trump's campaign manager who had some influence in Ukranian affairs IIRCA spoke to a diplomat, and his son in law, I believe, spoke to a Russian lawyer to get dirt that didn't materialize. Hardly the stuff of a massive conspiracy and rampant collusion. Then there's the "influenced the vote" angle. There were some unknown ads on Facebook nobody saw, some fake news sites or some such, as well as their RT news site putting out their daily propaganda. How that influenced millions of voters is unknown. In the end it's hard to tell whether people actually believe the above or whether they're just making a poor attempt to shame voters over winning an election. It's kinda pointless either way. They're ultimately only padding the feelz of the losers. A participation trophy, of sorts. You lost, but you really won, kinda thing. No, you lost because you're terrible, your policies are terrible, your agenda is terrible, and most importantly the candidate was the worst ever. Unless you can get the rest of the country indoctrinated into your cult, the losses will continue. The progressives showed their true colors and agenda, and people did not buy it. Sorry not sorry. There are progressives on the Republican side as well as swamp dwelling establishment cronies alike. The rampant and open cronyism in government is a major issue that needs addressing, not the narratives on CNN. When people are considered philanthropists for contributing to their own political action funds there's a problem. | ||

What Julie is doing, possibly even beyond her scope of understanding, is trying to prove that the claim of collusion is possible. No doubt, in her mind, proving it's possible, is the equivalent of proving it happened. How else to explain "what happened"? Being sheltered enough from the realities of how bad and corrupt a candidate Hillary was, there must be some nefarious explanation. The reality is that, it would be a precious minority of the population who would believe it's not possible to sway information on the internet. Hell, Google and Facebook have admitted to fiddling with their algorithms to do exactly that. I was involved in doing similar stuff, for valid business reasons, with internal data, because sometimes you simply have data points that defy the conventions of good algorithms. When it's done by Google, or Facebook, who have both been less than neutral politically, I take their word that it's in the interest of best practices with a barrel of salt. In short, proving the possibility, is a bit like proving the world is round. It's already known. The question at hand should be who colluded with Russia? The answer seems to be coming up Hillary and the DNC. | ||

What I find most ironic is I blame CNN etc. For Trump. A rich game show host & casino builder, President? Unlikely. Reagan was an activist in unions, politics, decades before he ran. Bedtime For Bonzo aside, Ronny was a respected actor, old school gentleman, and well known as a deep thinking politically conservative speaker. But Donald? Hah! Then for a solid year, the Media, pro Democrat if not Hillary, did near zero coverage of the other FIFTEEN R candidates, unless they were feuding with Donald. There was an early push to destroy the Black & the Woman candidates as they were initially perceived to ruin the Dem fake monopoly on "minorities", & a woman running against The Chosen One could use tactics that couldn't be lied away as male aggression and mistreatment of poor defenseless girrrrls. So a solid year of Trump twits and sound bites and by Primary time no one could tell you who all was running, except The Donald. So yeah. It's their fault and I hope they choke on it. To his credit the Donald was the only candidate with the stones to stand up to the onslaught. He many not be the person we wanted, but he did end up being the candidate that was needed. The media did a great job of suppressing Hillary votes with their backwards projections and constant reassurance that it was indeed Hillary's turn. My main issue with the Democrat "most progressive" campaign is that their entire premise is based on utter, total, and complete nonsense and blatant lies. I'm not so much a conservative or libertarian but an individualist. My entire being is in direct contrast with their ideologies. | ||
