This one is easy to explain.
Given a choice between a normal person and one who is going to demand everyone speak to them/frig as they choose, you'd pick the less demanding non-narcissist.
Every sane person's thought is that it's easier to avoid provoking the mentally ill who have signalled by making a choice of pronouns that they are over sensitive and will waste everyone's time and emotional health.
That girl who filed sexual harassment claims against previous employers might have bad luck or be a crazy, or dishonest threat. If she worked in the Biden* and Cuomo offices, then she might be a great worker, and every claim a sign of good character.
But the 2 spirit with an ego larger than his/Muppet talents, isn't worth dealing with.
Might be unfair, but nobody likes to be corrected/chewed out when they violate a language rule made up last month and only known to the angry inch screaming they'll call the thought police on you.
And it's such an easy sorting process, unlike the possible sex harassment junkie. Or petty thief. Those don't announce they're hard to work with. |

I listened to the pundits that claimed the Harry Potter books were a fake British Exceptionalism fantasy. Others who screamed that a novel with witches was an abomination in the eyes of their god(s).
And I've watched the commie culture wreckers howl for her blood as she defends real feminism and women's rights. Mentally ill monsters calling for her to be raped to death and burn her books.
Imho, J.K. Rowling ranks with J.R.R. Tolkien as two of the greatest British authors of the 20th century. Full respect for Orwell, but Rowling & Tolkien wrote masterpieces that defined their genres,who's work already is, and will be, the most copied stories in literature for as long as civilization exists.
It's hard to find a more different pair of writers, an Oxford Don & single mother on the dole. Yet both have entertained billions and are loved by nerds and children like few others in history.
A cosplayer in Hogwarts robes is recognized anywhere on Earth not ruled by Islamist or Communist intolerant information censors. And still would be by the best and brightest in those hells on Earth.
I hope sometime soon J.K. Will be inspired to write another great novel. Meanwhile, she's my hero in her battle with intolerant monsters, far worse evil than the Death Eaters. |

The game scandal is that a woke propaganda and humorless company is both pressuring gaming companies to make woke ugly characters, and censor and cancel anyone who points that out. Even mentioning Sweet Baby Inc. Will get a deluge of death threats and a robot assault on free speech by demanding you be banned from game hubs like Steam.
Pointing out that the big losers in recent games released were all influenced/censored by Sweet Baby Inc is grounds for your utter destruction on antisocial media. ( I'm guessing their very name is a fog horn for child abusers. )
Fog horn is the opposite of dog whistle. Only the left hears dog whistles. Everyone hears a fog horn.
Part of the Sweet Baby Inc Occupation is the demand that female characters in games be unattractive. Because, male gaze, sexist pigs.
Like many gamers, I prefer to play female characters. If I'm spending hours blowing away aliens or zombies I want a female cartoon butt on screen over a male one. Laura Croft, Moze the mechwarrior, the female characters are often the better balanced or sometimes only ones to play.
( I spent a summer playing Half Life, where you have no choice of character. I'd play as a horrible gelatinous cube if it had good melee stats. )
It's not latent homosexuality, like some idiot pundits say. The opposite, really.
I get that some women always will get upset over hot chicks in any format. Barbie!!!!!

The architect of Obamacare, pointed out that old folk use more resources and medical labor than the young, ( true ) and in a government socialized medicine program, they're a drain on the system and should be murdered, I mean offered euthanasia, for The Greater Good. At least, they should be denied treatment and allowed to die off, with the humanitarian paint job of lots of painkillers instead of life saving expensive medicines. ( so, at least better than some regimes )
Canada, which probably had the second best health care system on the continent, now offers euthanasia to elderly, depressed, and veterans, especially ones depressed by being denied treatment by the system. ( so efficient! )
Some Eurotrash countries offer euthanasia as a cost saving option, as well.
Nihilism and eugenics and tyranny are natural fellow travelers.
Personal experience with relatives of heart attack patients is in the U.S., you immediately get life saving drugs, and depending upon the fad/research of the day, get some kind of mechanical/surgical treatment. Stents, artery ablation, vein grafts, etc.
It's a rapidly changing field, as survival rates are measured and treatment changed. It's Actually Science! Mostly. If you're lucky in where you live, preferably near a teaching and research hospital.
There's less "crack the chest" operations and more "thread the tool through a vein" procedures, and what the tool does changes, too. The drugs change, too. Science! Never settled, always changing. Hopefully advancing.
I know several people who would have died in England or Canada, from heart disease while on a waiting list for treatment.
Otoh. Gotta give respect where due! I know an author ( not personally, through his work ) who had a serious, gonna die, painful digestive system problem. Some rare and crippling fatal nerve thing that is to "tummy trouble" what a sucking chest wound is to a bad cough.
Here, in the U.S. he'd have had surgery, with variable success, depending upon the diagnostic skill in the ER. In Toronto, he lucked out in 2 ways. First, a smart Doctor who made the right guess, on a rare problem. Props. Second, the cure was a big hit of morphine. Instant relief by resetting the nerves. A treatment probably impossible in the American Drug War culture and restriction.
Sure, it's a rare, fringe thing. But he lived. |
