Very sad. Like I always say when something like this happens- if you don't know the warning sign for a heart attack, learn them. Chest pain is NOT the only one.

That's right, CBS mis-reported his death and has since deleted the post.

Although very sad, he is not technically dead. He was on life support as of 10:30am today. His family has chosen to take him off life support and given the order to not resuscitate With no brain activity, that is dead in most eyes.

He is still alive

Wow.

WDVX has a great Monday nite radio program, always a fun mix. We had company over, and in the background I kept hearing Tom Petty songs, and covers of his songs. Had no idea until I looked at the computer before bed.

One of my favorite musicians, easily in the top 10, maybe 5. We saw him in Nashville a few years ago, on tour with Steve Winwood.
Wildflowers is on my CD deck kinda regularly.

RIP.
