I just ate at Big W's BBQ and had some brisket to prep for Texas BBQ tomorrow. |

Sorry guys, it’s a steady rain here now with heavier rain to the west and the sun’s not even up yet. I’m going to wuss out on this one for now. Enjoy the BBQ and watch out for the sheriff.
On that note, all you other guys that couldn’t make it today, let’s do an HHR Repeat next weekend. Pick a day, I’m open for either one at the moment. Same place, same time? I know you’re out there so chime in and let’s get this going. |

Due to low attendance we are going to Big W's BBQ in Wingdale for lunch instead. No ETA but they don't open to 11 I think. Watch my Glympse if you want to join us for lunch. |

If you go next weekend . . . let me know. I fly back in Thursday night and should be around the Hudson Valley if anyone needs a stop over place for refreshments, rest rooms, etc . . . I'll be working in the barn. |

Ok. Great ride everyone. Froggy and I are just about home. We’re two hours early for lunch.
We dodged a ups package on the road and we are soaked. All good.

So what's up next weekend ? Did anyone make the Texas BBQ today ? If it's not raining or snowing I should be able to score a pair of wheels and I'm still hungry for that brisket. |

Do you want to continue with this thread or start a new one? There should be a couple of more interested parties here. Which day is best for you, stick with Sunday? They went to a different BBQ today so Roundup Texas BBQ has yet to be visited by Buellers. With nicer weather we can meet at Perkins tower and do a proper ride before lunch. We have one week to make this happen. |

Gee, I hate to be a Debbie Downer but futurecast is showing a possible repeat this Sunday of yesterday. They’re not committing yet but still Saturday could be the better of the two. We could make it a Hammer Run, what do you guys think? |

I definitely didnt attempt to make the effort with this weather. It would have been 2:30hrs down , ride and 2:30hrs back in this crud.

If it's not raining I will be able to get a bike and would like some of that briske. Yum yum gimme some. So far as a new thread... I don't know ? Would that put the proposed ride in a greater light ? If so it sounds like a good idea. Is anyone with local knowledge interested in this at all ? I don't know my way around the area at all. |

Okay everyone, Saturday looks like the best weekend day so here's the scoop:
HHR 13 Reloaded, meet at Perkins Tower (or the gate if it's closed)on Bear Mtn. NY Saturday morning 11/4/17 at 9AM. Kickstands up by 9:30, lunch at whatever time we show up at the Roundup Texas BBQ in Cold Springs NY.
I'm going to open up this discussion in a new thread so that any newcomers recognize it as current. |
