Does anyone live next to EBR? I am on my way to the factory from Massachusetts but with traffic and other bullshit I'm not going to get there before they close today at 5. I won't be getting there till about 6:30 or so. Does anybody live in the area that can help me to pick up three items for me? |

If all else fails, Jim, maybe an Elf could just meet you at Gus' and you could buy them some grub? IIRC there are a couple of folks around there close, but surely an EBR staffer would wait up on ya. Good luck and drive safe buddy! |

You're always welcome. Just remember; this weekend is the West Virginia Buell Rally at North Bend State Park and I'm going to be there and not at home. (I won't be home on Labor Day weekend either. The Springfield Mile is beckoning and I'm powerless to resist) |

My car won't go into gear. There is the shift shaft that comes out of the top of the trans. The shaft is splined and a plate that the shifter cables connects to sits on top of the shaft. Well the splines on either the plate or the shaft are not engaging. The shaft is steel and the plate is aluminum so I'm guessing the splines on the plate are stripped. I have it at a garage to see if they can redneck engineer something to get me back on the road. If not then I'm fu**ed. |

The garage that I dropped my car off at was able to rig it so I can shift now. Back on road and hopefully I make it back to West Virginia and then back to Massachusetts. It should be interesting |
