If you can't sleep tonight just pick a few of the old Buell recall notices and give them a read. Caution this ma bring back Buell recall flash back for those of you that been into Buell's for a long time. This may even help those of you that can tell if its been performed or if your buying a used part that was in a recall. I think I found them all. https://www.sphdonline.com/pages/buell-recalls

The PRD-501 wasn't a "recall" it was a service bulletin product program. I'm going to do all the service bulletins on a different tap it the next few weeks. It takes a few days to round them all up and most need to be converted to PDF files and some compressed. I'll get there, just give a little more time.

What's a "Service Bulletin Product Program"? We had XBrs' with burnt/burning/catching fire plastic headlight reflectors.I wonder how many more in service suffer from degraded reflectors. We had QUITE the investigative team here on the Badweb |

Nice Lance - you or the dealership on Facebook yet? Could tag you 10 times a week with people looking for parts. DAve |

service bulletins will advised the dealership of a possible problem with a model or just a part that might have an issue. The bulletins can and most of the time expires within a set time. Recalls are a safety issue that must be resolved by the dealership and never expire. A dealer ship can't sell / deliver a new bike with an open recall, even if there isn't a fix for the issue yet. |
