Haven't been here in a while. Have to admit, I was mad when Buell got bonked again. No telling what happens now I suppose. I just shake my head.

However...being able to peel away from my business long enough to sup with my fellow ASBN compatriots keeps my engine light lit (in a good way). Just the other day, I met a fellow Bueller for some breakfast. I remarked to myself how utterly badass that CityCross of his looked and sounded. I was on my Uly. We roared into a sleepy old Oakland neighborhood now filled with yupsters and hipsters along with some neighborhood originals on our way to a killer breakfast. BTW, chorizo sausage can burn you twice.

We chatted about Buell over breakfast. We've discussed this many times. There is nothing for us like these Buells. Cruel and ugly. Loud and hateful. My Uly is a gas to ride. And my S2. So Buell is what we are sticking with.

Last meeting, a new rider (new to ASBN, not new to riding) showed up by the name of Mike. He had just picked up a 2006 Uly. Black. Does his own work. Cool. Also unfazed by recent events.

Maybe Erik will make some creations on his own time similar to what Roland Sands does. Not crazy customs, but something like the next S1. Leave it at that and see what happens. Or not. There's no point in either of us quitting now.

Well said. I have been of the hope he takes over the original garage and produces a hundred AX motorcycles per year. The best of his parts bin.
