One of donalds big problem is not keeping his mouth shut. He may not have done anything but he acts like he did. His travel ban may be legal but he keeps tweeting and hurting the case. I really dislike the guy but it is hard for me to believe how hard it is for him to just shut the F up. |

Precisely I think has has a couple credible ideas . . . with regards to taxes and the economy. But . . .like a high school kid . . he's so easy to draw off message his plans just flail in the wind. |

Great posts Court, all of them. You nailed it, as did several others. Trump pisses me off and I voted for the loud mouth schmuck to keep Clinton out. He is hurting the party and its chances of getting anything good passed. Trump has diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain. Sad situation. |

When you get really frustrated by Trump, just think about what things would be like if Hillary won... |

I agree, Crusty, but it could be so much better if Trump would smarten up. I haven't given up. I'm still hoping that he'll start thinking before speaking and start getting informed before spouting off and tweeting. Hope springs eternal. |

Ryan wanted Clinton to win, just in case you don't already know that! You'd be frustrated too if you, as POTUS, have all the RINO's working with all the marxists/progressives to make sure the swamp doesn't get drained and expose their backchannel deals. The swamp probably won't be drained. It's in our DNA to wait until the 11th hour. Maybe this time we've waited too long. If you were POTUS, how would you deal with having the agenda that you ran on, that you won the Presidency with, being thwarted at every turn. Maybe he could get the message out through Fox News, NYT, WP, the Philly Inquirer! How would you communicate with the people who elected you????? Has anybody here complaining ever serve in an elected position????? |

Place things in context. While the Washington Swamp and the compliant MSM shriek about Trump and try to roadblock him, he is slowly getting things done. Consider: * He has brought us a Conservative onto the Supreme Court. * He has walked away from the disastrous Paris Accord. * He has renewed strong friendship with Israel. * and Saudi Kingdom and Great Britain. * He has strongly told our NATO allies that they have to share in the common defense. * He has been responsible for the DOW rising 3000 points. I hope all Badwebbers have made some money. * He has given us Nikki Halley, who might be the first woman US President. * He has brought jobs and business back to America. * He has made illegals cross the border drop 90%. * He has jettisoned the horrible Common Core. * He has started filling Federal judgeships. * He has started the process of restoring decent health care. * He has started the process of tax reform. * He has brought the oil pipeline to protect North America. * He has bombed the scumbags in Syria. * He has given us T-Rex. * He has given us Mad Dog Mattis. * He is rebuilding the military. And he is just getting started. I respectfully disagree with your assessments. He is crazy like a fox. |

Dog: I'll concede all those things and, frankly, would have settled for just Judge Gorsuch. I was scared to death of a Hillary Clinton Supreme Court nominee. We'll see what happens. I suspect young Kushner (who brings a group of high school year book staffers to The White House?) will be out soon and that others may follow him. A couple of the talented folks have already tossed in the towel. Sean Spicer, on his best day the rough equivalent of Baghdad Bob, seems to be fading into the horizon and Kellyann Conway has got to be the most offensive looking person to ever get before a camera. (I should be careful what I say . . .she's rich and doesn't live far away :-) ) I'm not sure what, or if, Trump had anything to do with it . . . but I'd also say thanks for the stock market. I've moved about 27% into foreign equities (which are also running at about a 27% return this year) and and having a heyday as I'm sure other folks, looking for retirement are as well. The one benefit that I am seeing is all the infrastructure stuff. After 43 years my final retirement will be based on the last 2 years total compensation, with overtime, and >I got sucked into doing all the helicopters for a $2B emergency job going 86 hours a week. Cool. I would never trust Clinton to follow through on infrastructure. We'll see how long Donald can keep his robes out of the moving machinery! Like I say . . . I have pretty well, other than a glimpse, tossed my fate to the wind . . . with other things to do. |

Well stated, Court. President Trump is his own worst enemy. There is hope that he can better learn the Washington ropes. After all, he excelled in New York real estate as that is probably the second largest swamp.

The political theater doesn't much interest me. It's always the same stuff dragged out over and over again. Each side playing their narratives and pleading their case while poorly veiling their bias. I'm more interested in what actually gets done than what the president, media personalities, and celebs bicker about on Twitter. That's all a distraction. I consider that stuff largely a matter of entertainment value. |

President Trump's Infrastructure speech today was excellent. I am hopeful. If he can get 30% of his infrastructure plans (i.e. bridges, roads, railroads, regulation reduction, etc.) implemented it will be a huge accomplishment. Please focus on the big goals and let the trivia be, Mr. President. |

But Barry already fixed all the infrastructure. It was shovel ready and he borrowed a trillion dollars to do so then gave us the bill. This is either a scam by Donald to enrich his mafia buddies or......... they lied to us for eight years. |

DJT is not a politician. He is a deal maker. You are not seeing/hearing what is really going on in his administration. MSM lies anyone? I sincerely hope that all you Trump naysayers eat crow. The fact of the matter is "We The People" chose the lesser of the two evils for the last 100 years. Eleventh hour each and every time! Ryan is deep in the swamp. He's got a lot of friends there. And all the BS about "let's make sure SCOTUS doesn't go left...what tripe. Look at all the Reagan/Bush/Bush picks! We Americans give up way too easy on leaders who exhibit character and integrity. We prefer the polished, the actors. We the people are hoping/praying for DJT and an American revival! You'd do well to do the same. |

To be clear. They did lie to us for eight years about Barry. Now it's Donald's time for them to lie about. The polarization of the lies is opposite, that's all. |

There is still the chance The Donald could finally make that character transition from candidate to president. Better late than never. Also I don't discount the benefits to Americans on either side of the political fence even if they're done by a president I would vote against. Reagan and Bush Sr appointed a surprising number of gay judges who were pivotal to marriage equality decades later. I am very critical of The Donald's character, or lack of it. I think it unnecessarily handicaps his ability to be productive and it squanders the great political capital he worked so very hard to build. |

Sadly, the value of facts seems to have plummeted in the idea marketplace as of late. You could argue that goes back decades. I am thinking that Journalists don't like to sell stories entirely based on facts because it's hard work and the pay is meh. Customers turn up their noses and say "why are we paying for this? These facts are publicly available for free!" But hey, just take half of those facts and weave them together with lots of opinion and call it a "perspective piece" and hey, that's a lot easier and you've created a market where customers pay more! You can even get the same thin set of facts and write two opposing perspective pieces and sell them to two political parties at inflated prices! |

Trump is quite boorish as a public figure. All the media hysteria is an ongoing character assassination. Who cares. The people who support him still do. Those that do not are still losing their gord. |

The tax dollar sinkholes are not happy. http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/17/politics/civil-right s-commission-probe/index.html They have enough money for a two year probe, but not enough to do their jobs. This is one of many government funded boondoggles that needs to be cut outright. |

Some sanity from a Leftie in a Leftie magazine; Guess who said this, “When I see Mexican flags waved at proimmigration demonstrations, I sometimes feel a flush of patriotic resentment. When I’m forced to use a translator to communicate with the guy fixing my car, I feel a certain frustration.” Why, it was the Annointed One, BHO! https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2017/ 07/the-democrats-immigration-mistake/528678/ If the illegals tended to vote GOP, we would have 10,000 Hodgkinsons at the border. |
