The Goldman Sachs folk in the White house had me nervous that Donald would not just dump Paris. Sooooo glad I was wrong. And the lies about Paris are so pervasive even the right wing pundits that love that Donald got us out keep perpetuating them. Specifically, that it's not a binding treaty. It sure is. But only on the honest. As one guy I heard on the radio said today ( and I have zero evidence that this is correct ) by 2010 Washington was supposed to be under water and you'd need a gondola to get to work there. I don't recall that prediction, but why should I? We all died years ago when the seas died, the air ran out and the last bit of food was consumed by the population bomb. The truth is the only thing that kept the Real dangers, starvation, dead seas, unbreathable air, from being real was hard work and new technology developed in the free, running dog capitalist world. China, under the Paris agreement has until 2030 to decide if they want to bother with it.... by which time the Global Warming folk tell us it's far too late. So, as usual it's not what they say, it's the power they want. | ||

Someone on FB implored me to look at the data as supplied by "climate scientists." Most of them are from completely unrelated backgrounds and fields and they are peer reviewed by whom? Seems "climate scientist" is a pretty loose label. At any rate, the prediction models are not alarming, the sensationalistic and propagandist methods used to sell this accord are ridiculous, and we don't need to funnel more money into another U.N. globalist scheme. | ||

I was listening to it on the radio, but had to run to a meeting. Interesting stuff and I am anxious to see how both sides spin it. FWIW: The F-I-L (retired FBI) knows Comey, and even though he does not like him, he respects him and feels he is genuine and honest. | ||

I think he's politically neutered. To date, with a pretty well stacked deck . . . he's put a healthcare bill up the flagpole that's little better than Obamacare. He did question Lynch's motives in how she handled the email "matter". I agree that Trump is neutered. He can't keep his mouth shut and has shot himself in the foot so many times he has no toes left. Still, Comey's testimony was a little to sanctimonious for me. | ||
