Knew a chef- the usual, talented but mental. Told me about taking his wife out for Tex-Mex, ate some dang hot pepper salsa and/or peppers, had a nice, romantic dinner. After dinner, at home, he got hungry for some tuna... ended up as a HOT tuna ceviche!  | ||

Racist, me? Sure, If moron is a race. ten years ago only pure feces for brains folk would have insisted on racially segregated graduation ceremonies at the most prestigious, and over rated college in the country. They'd have been Democrats, then, too. People I respect died to stop that crap. It's taken a century, but the left & the Democrat Party has undone the good work to ensure equal rights to the former slaves of the Democrats. When I was a child, nearby states forbid black people from suing the same drinking fountain or restroom. ( I was lucky enough to be born in a state that the escaped slaves ran to ) Every one of those racist laws was written by and passed by Democrats. ( the people Alfau seems to believe ) It took hard work and not seldom, the lives of young Republicans to reverse that institutional racism. Sure, the current Republican Party Leaders are scum of the Earth. It's not the Party of Lincoln anymore. But the Democrat leaders are blatantly racist in so many ways. We have Hillary & Bill who proudly campaigned using the Confederate flag. Bill's mentor was racist and opposed equal voting rights. Bill had the traditional Democrat hatred of the NRA, due to it's history of supporting blacks against the Klan, the Democrat Party Action Arm. ( and the blatantly racist Black Lives Matter group is also a wholly owned part of the Party of the Klan. ) In simple fact the leftists have long used race hatred to gain power, and now that the D party has fully embraced leftist ideology, including proposing death camps for those who question them, it's a grand coalition of evil. And I have never made donuts. I am guessing this has some deep sexual implications for you. sorry to disappoint. ( edit: deleted Liz Warren mention. We live in interesting times . . .  From The Crimson By the way . . . I loved the donuts comment. I suspect few here know that among our midst we have a long time Badwebber who's grandfather invented the machine that makes the donut and the family still owns the property rights from which they make tens of millions a year. | ||

I enjoyed the Krispy Kream signature glazed donuts, but they closed their local store. ( the rest of their donuts were mediocre at best. We have a couple of very good local family shops that are outstanding. Even Duncan Donuts is better than KK for most of the product range. Feel free to argue. Taste is taste. ) I do have to give KK full points for marketing. While you stand in line in the morning, watching the giant donut machine work, they offer a free, fresh, hot, glazed donut to the folk in line. By the time you reach the counter 2 dozen on sale makes sense in your sugar rush haze. Brilliant! Not fond of the Canadian brand donuts. I Don't eat donuts very often. It's traditional to bring in snacks for the crew on your overtime days. Donuts are way down the eagerly devoured list. I usually do the big jar of Pretzel sticks or box of Oreo 6 packs. Those go fast.  | ||

I thought the segregated graduation was a joke, or perhaps an internet myth. I'm stunned that it's actually real. It reminded me of this very old but prophetic Doonesbury cartoon, I'm old enough to remember its first run.  Its not so funny now.. | ||
