I ran into Mike Fitzpatrick today at the "Slimy Crud Run". I handed him a note from Doris addressed to Erik regarding having breakfast with the HC crew. Mike said he would give Erik the note when he sees Erik on Wednesday. Regarding the Crud Run...EBR's outnumbered Buells for sure. Most Buell's were X1 Lightning's. I sure hope that Erik, Mike, and the Elves will join us on Friday, 09May for a good meal and good company. | ||

So is there an itinerary or anything for the week of? Couple of guys have asked me, all I knew of was the rough dates to start/stop. I added an additional day on the facebook post just to give extra time to show up, but any extra info would be good. I thought there was a race the weekend before and after, some guys planned on being there through both weekends. My trip will be somewhat shorter. | ||

Wednesday June 7th: Gus's Drive-In becomes a day long meet and greet with Buellers filling their bellies and catching up with old friends and meeting new. Thursday June 8th: Factory Tour is up in the air as of right now. Factory Parking Lot Gathering has an unofficial green light. In years past Erik has been sighted on the asphalt. Never know who may show up on a Thursday morning.This is Buell/EBR enthusiasts activity, getting together to hang out or...?. Any official factory involvement will be a plus. Last year they did more than expected, given their status and (limited) resources and it was seriously appreciated! Friday June 9th: Two Seasons and Doris' BREAKFAST EXTRAVAGANZA! Steve and Doris open their garage and kitchen for one of the best home cooked breakfast experiences you can have in Wisconsin. Fine dining in lawn chairs scattered among Buells and Buellers in the garage. Never a dull moment and often the launching point for rides led by local talent. Saturday June 10th: Racing will bracket this HC2017 on both weekends; FYI: AHRMA racing will be at Gingerman Raceway the weekend of June 3-4 and Road America June 10-11. Pat Mooney races his EBRs in ARHMA, so if you want to cheer on the home team... MotoAmerica is at Road America June 9-11. Smoke's team (Max Flinders) races in the Superstock 1000 class in MotoAmerica, and has also raced an RX in AHRMA I haven't heard if we have a Garage Night @ Screamers. There is the chance it may still happen. Dinner at Roma's; After everyone figures out where everyone is Roma's or another fine dining establishment is usually agreed upon for lunch or supper location. This thread will be active during HC2017. It will be used for updates as schedule changes and event happenings morph. | ||

Sounds like I better extend my time off to June 7th for the meet and greet as well. Been in this community for 10 years, yet don't know nearly as many local Buellers as I should. Looking forward to putting faces to names. | ||

Knuckling under the pressure exerted by fellow enthusiasts, I am again taking the plunge: T-shirt design has been submitted to and approved by EBR. I will post graphics when I get to a more computer-friendly location and get proofs from my vendor. I'm not doing pre-orders, but ordered a bunch that will be available IN EAST TROY as first come-first served. FWIW, I also ordered a limited run of shirts from last year's 2016 Homecoming...mostly because I sold them all and I DIDN'T GET ONE!! Those few will also be available IN EAST TROY. I plan on pricing to hold at $20 ea. I'll also make a concerted effort to make shirts available after Homecoming. I planned to do that last year, but my good intentions got swallowed up in the craziness of reality. After-event shirts will be $25 to cover shipping. Please don't ask about ordering shirts now. I'll post up info on when and how we can make that happen AFTER Homecoming. More to follow, but it's getting close and I'm getting pumped. I LOVE Homecoming!!  | ||
