I've been told I am racist so many times and shown so many images of all black crowds doing terrible things that it's as though the media is scheming to indoctrinate me.

I'm simply choosing to withdraw from the game . . . too much good in this world to get caught up in all this crap. A bunch, regardless of race, idiots who want to toss chairs through Starbucks windows, slap each other in the face with skateboards and treat every speaker who had views that differ from their own with total disrespect deserve each other. . . . screw'em . . . let'em live their minimum wage, public assistance cellphone lives and beat the shit out of each other.

Loved the way they treated Betsy Devos today. Look . . .if your idea of academic excellence is an education at Bethune-Cookman University (Those of you who have EVER heard of the school before raise you hands) . . . I think I have a pretty fair idea of what type of ghetto behavior to expect.

I suspect their lives will soar to heights that emulate their education and behavior.

Assholes

I will never, ever again, live within 10 miles of a bus stop or any public transportation station besides maybe a regional airport.

Gretchen and I are in agreement on this subject. When the nearby road widening project is finished, if they put a bus stop anywhere along it's length, the For Sale sign will go up in our front yard, THAT DAY.

We don't have much crime here in Sugar Hill, GA. A lot of the people here are armed, no-nonsense type people. We've got a good cross-section of racial types in the neighborhood and we all get along just fine.

Not too many "Bernie" or "Hillary" bumper stickers. But then, most of my neighbors are not the kind of folks who put stickers on their cars at all.

When I selected the farm at an undisclosed location ( just a joke .... it's already turned into a BUELL Barn Summit Site) that was one of the criteria.

FBI crime stats for 2 years ago .... ZERO

When I took possession ..... "we'll have to find the keys and get them to you ... it's never been locked".

The city owns a police car and the keys are hanging next to the door in city hall, along with jumper cables, if they ever need it.

Stark contrast to 96th and Broadway on the upper west side where I spend as little time as possible.

Plus ...... cool to have neighbors with awesome recording studios behind their homes. I enjoy watching videos of guys like Joe Walsh out playing in the barn. Woodstock era veteran plays music with his son nightly that I can hear over the fence.

Also .... no shortage of incredible luthiers. I just got a couple special Taylors that went straight to Lyn for modifications. Where else can you get L. R. Bags stuff installed while you wait and visit with Todd Rindgren?

I'm here to stay.

I'm developing a theory about Donald's actions.

Since the R leadership is against him, Donald is giving the D leadership everything they want, just not when they ask for it.

SO they automatically condemn Trump for doing X, and, naturally, it comes out before the third comment on CNN praising the D Leader's Wisdom, that the D Leader had just weeks before, DEMANDED the exact same thing.

If this is a massively cynical ploy to ruin the D party's image while hammering the R leadership for being swamp people, It's brilliant.

Oh, sure, it could be rampant insanity & floundering madness, just like we've had for more than eight years now, but how can we tell?

The last 8 years we had an idiot anarchist in office.

Now, we've got an extremely smart man in there. Love him or hate him...he's a bright one.

Not that the press will ever let the sheeple see it...they'll keep spewing their bias to anyone not smart enough to dig for what's actually going on.

But, but, but....that's not the narrative!!!!

However, I do believe that this man is much more calculated than most, especially those in the media, can wrap their head around.

It's funny.

With Barry, you could buy the altruistic demigod fanboy take, or the ideology driven hard core communist ruin monger, or the cynical greedy pol who just uses the left's tactics and steals their loyalty with lies, BUT, if you factor in irrational behavior as a given, you can't tell which is the "real" Barry. ( there are shades of cynical/ideologue and interpretations of the mind created by crazy mom and child abuse, but they all plausibly could be the underlying motivation )

That was the last nine years, ( including Barry's meteoric rise to power during the election ) and now we've got a very different fellow, but a near identical questions.

Cynical manipulator or wild card?
Brilliant insight or blind ego?
insert your own dichotomy.

I'm not believing the Anti-Trump folk, mostly because they have a track record of lies to gain power. ( otherwise I'd assume Donald is even more a jerk than I'd thought, which is quite possible. But it's usually safe to bet that professional liars are lying )

I'm thinking the Trump Fans that interpret every action as a brilliant ploy are probably wrong. ( as I do above ) But....could be.

I wish the President, and All my fellow Citizens, good luck in these interesting times.

BTW. If the former FBI head dies suddenly real soon.... My bet's on Hillary.

Just the beginning of the end.
Next, quoting Trump will be grounds for suspension.
Soon after that, public execution.
( but only, at first, for wearing a Trump quote and a flag and a vague shadow that might be a gun. Triple threat intolerance )

Saudi Arabia has been the best of friends. Bush the Younger holding hands, Barry the Weasel bowing, we've long had a love hate relationship with the sponsor of Obedient Islam and oil price control King.

We have propped up the Royal family there in exchange for stability and the power to moderate oil prices.

But now with fracking we don't seem to need the price power...... however.

Saudi Arabia is the ultimate welfare state. The Kings long ago made their deal with the devil using the Wahabist church to keep their population in line, with the payoff to the church being mass funding to export it's pre-medieval cult. ( Barry was indoctrinated at a Saudi funded Wahabist school in Indonesia )

So for decades the West has paid to raise terrorism through oil sales.

But that oil money has also made the Saudi people a government dependent bunch. Their actual work is being done by imported labor. Arabia is the living cliche of a land where immigrants do the jobs the natives won't do. In stark contrast to the U.S. the immigrants don't get sweet free stuff, it's closer to slavery and indentured servitude. The immigrants also don't get to stay and become citizens. Nor do many get to go home before being crippled and used up.

So, objectively, it might seem wise to allow the Royal pimps of Arabia to fall, since they are a prime source of evil in the world. Arguably worse than the Rothschilds.

But all fear a furious and useless Islamic dictatorship with the potential resources of Arabia.

The King needs the oil money to pay off the useless masses to stay in power. Russian oil and American oil both have undercut that cash flow. That's true for the oil sheiks of the tiny uber rich Persian gulf states too.

All real politic observers fear the chaos and war that would follow the fall of the House of Saud and the Oil Sheiks. Iran would ( and is in the process of ) conquer the region in the name of the mullahs and oil production would plummet as the foreign workers fled the purges and mass murder.

one problem with foreign workers doing the work natives won't do is then natives can't do it....... how many American college kids pick fruits to work their way through school? The food prices here are dependent on cheap labor.

Multiply that by Islam and fear for the planet.

Was watching fox news Sunday. chris wallace has such contempt for DJT.

Regarding Aesquire's comment about imported labor in Saudia Arabia, so true. Turned down a gig there to train their Saudi sub sailors. Excellent pay, tax free here, but would have to live in a compound. Not allowed out in public unless you followed ALL the rules. Since I've been somewhat of a free thinker all my life, I knew that I'd end up in prison over there.

They returned CONUS in 2 weeks.

True that but consider:

The MSM and the Democrat Party have gone utterly insane with 100% hatred, 100% anti anything President Trump says or does, and 100% opposition. Utter opposition makes the opposition seem somewhere south of altruistic. Working people, the Middle Class in the center or right of center, are getting tired of the constant Colbertisms eruption against a United States President. The magnitude of their humor or positions is more than against Donald Trump. It has entered the arena of disrespect of the actual Office of the President of the United States. Trump is actually gaining sympathy plus he already has major accomplishments.

When the MSM and the Demo Party make Alfau (sorry Alfau)seem reasonable, you know they are in crisis.

I, too, would like to see President Trump keep his big mouth shut sometimes.

For my money, an imploded Trump is still far better than Hillary at her best. Not even close.

As for the link Hugh posted, under BO, it seemed that virtually every government agency was politicized. It's hard to imagine our intelligence agencies escaped this politicization. Once politicized internally, I don't think a new administration is going to turn that around on inauguration day. Does anyone really believe our government agencies are running with the best interests of the people in mind? I would dare say that it would take a fool to hold that belief.

Speaking of politicization of our government agencies... IRS execs: Our lives at risk in tea party case So basically, if I understand the argument correctly, if it's made public what they did, they feel their lives would be in danger. I guess it does suck when you've enraged the towns people to the point that they show up at your house with torches and pitchforks. Do we have a "world's smallest violin" emoticon?

Yes, crooked IRS employees. You don't have the massively armed guards 24/7 that the Clintons and Pelosis do. You have angered people with both your crimes and your insistence that you are above the law.

While I can never condone vigilante action, it seems appropriate that your home address is published. After all, you violated other's privacy when it was a felony.

Unrelated news, I'm considering building some portable, hitch ready, guillotine trailers. I'll post the E-Bay ad here when they're ready. ( head baskets available at Pier One ) ; )
