David Letterman's mom, Dorothy, passed yesterday. She made the ripe old age of 95... but died just before Dave's birthday, today. Wow.

I always loved to see her come on his show, such a great personality, and you could always see the rapport between mother and son.
Makes me miss mine a bit more today.

"Pie in the sky"? I say she'll be cooking them from now on. RIP, madam.
