Some time ago I heard that Harley dealers were to remove all Buell signs. Just the other day I noticed my local dealer had covered theirs over with plastic. I asked if I could have the sign but also learned that these items were to be destroyed. I may have to go dumpster diving soon. | ||

I noticed the one at my dealer disappeared about a year ago. I'm hoping their Buell-enthusiast tech rescued it. | ||

...yeah,i made an offer to the new owner's of the dealership here,but as i pretty much already knew....said it was worth way way more and decided to leave it there,...oh well..and so it sits,mounted to the outside of the building,,,,hey, at least i'd have it indoors,and could get a grin every time i "light it up" and that Buell glow in the garage... he could of had some moola and i could of had a way cool addition to the garage...sad to see it out there every time i drive by on the freeway....LT | ||

My old boss mounted the big lighted Buell sign to the west outer wall of The Shed... haven't thought much about whether he has anything else laying around. | ||

Joe, Unfortunately they sold it already. It was listed on their eBay auctions for-damn-near-ever for $300. One side was less than pretty. I would've been in at $200, and was hoping they'd drop the price about the time of my last trip to DC, but they didn't. A month or so ago I saw that someone bought it for $200 :-( Oh well... 1313 | ||

..1313..i offered 200.00 for the sign at the dealership here in Carson City....and they said it was way way too low...whiskey tango foxtrot......said some mumblings about quite a bit more to sell it....don't really remember what exact price....but it was stupid high...some people....at least i'd put it to good use ..AND it would be indoors out of the elements.....ding dong people... | ||
