Many years ago, when being taught about politics, it was shown to me how from the far left to the far right it was not a straight line, but a circle. When you stand back and look at the ideologies at a high level, they start to meld, become more similar than different.

I would agree in theory. In reality, at least in the US at this point, the right is light years away from closing that circle. The left has pretty much done it's part though.
The legal argument that if a company bribes the President & his Party that it's legal to force you at gunpoint, ( fines, arrest and jail.... ) to buy that company's product, is morally rejected by me.
This is the right discussion, and we shouldn't entrench.
So, is someone getting CPR or on a breathing machie "viable"?
Is somebody in a wheelchair, who would never be able to hunt or farm without a lot of industrialized assistance "viable"?
Is a 1 year old baby, who would be dead in 36 hours were it not for constant maintenance, "viable"?
Is an egg fertilized in a test tube but never implanted "viable"?
Is a sperm and an egg, both still viable, but not yet joined, "viable"?
Does a fertile male standing next to a fertile female who have not had sex result in something "viable"?
I've tried to be openminded about these things and get to an intellectually honest answer. It's hard, but there are a few logical places where you could join the line.
