Alfau suffers from a malady where he cannot distinguish between Obama and the people he's harmed, the American citizens.

Perhaps if we here had all falsely claimed "he's not my president" for eight years our Aussie ally would understand. We didn't because even though we may not have voted for Obama, and opposed almost every rotten treasonous thing he did, we aren't psychologically children like our Democrat Party leaders. The guy got hired. He had the job. He may have committed fraud to win, & likely did, but the only way we had to overturn that was unacceptable to civilized citizens. ( John Wilkes Booth, a famous actor took that path. Seeing the actors & celebrities of today should trigger flash backs. )

But under Alfau's lack of comprehension & silly willingness to believe the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, lies a germ of truth.

Obama did send guns illegally to AQ in Syria. Obama did bomb & attack other countries. Obama did create the refugee crisis with his Obama wars.

All against the will of the people. But Alfau fails to grasp that no matter how many times we tell him.

So just translate "you" into "Obama & Soros" and he's, magically, a very perspective fellow. : )

So, Alfie's true colors finally come out. Just remember one thing alfie, you'd be speaking Japanese if it wasn't for those so called worn out generals and hermaphroditic military forces. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't originally from down under, maybe an illegal living down there now or, did you overstay your visa or were you planning on going to Mexico and trying to sneak in here ? Come on, fess up !

Aesquire, you left out O and Erik selling illegal arms into Mexico, then claiming national security to seal the paper work also, known as Fast and Furious!

Alf, you do realize that there have been Aussie troops in Afghanistan too right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Australian_D efence_Force_casualties_in_Afghanistan

Respect your countrymen who have likewise died fighting these sandal wearing bugger eaters or whatever you called them.

France, England, Germany, all Europe is suffering the invasion you seeded.

With disdain and disgust, I agree with an aspect of this statement. However, the seeding was done by those sandal wearing devil men in the middle east, and the star in the center of the universe, barrack hussein obama in all his royal splendor, provided the sunshine for the growth of the crisis.

A generation from now, half of europe may be part of the islamic state. He performed his duties faithfully, and the world is burning because of it. Literally, the world is burning.

Aesquire, you asked about Bowling Green up-thread a bit:

quote:

Iraq – The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees [emphasis mine - FB] in Bowling Green, Kentucky — who later admitted in court that they’d attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq — prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists’ fingerprints. (link) An ABC News investigation of the flawed U.S. refugee screening system, which was overhauled two years ago, showed that Alwan was mistakenly allowed into the U.S. and resettled in the leafy southern town of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

^ This thread ("Judge Robart Was, and Is, Wrong About U.S. Refugee Arrests From Countries Within Trump Visa Ban"), in typical Sundance fashion, is extremely well-researched and documented; MULTIPLE hot-links for folks wanting simply to fact-check, or perhaps dive down a rabbit hole or two.

U.S. judge who stayed President Trump's immigration order abused his judicial power: David Barnhizer (Opinion)
By David Barnhizer, 02/06/2017

CLEVELAND -- I just read the ruling of U.S. District Judge James Robart blocking a sitting American president's ability to impose temporary rules limiting the entry of migrants seeking access to the United States so that the existing programs are properly evaluated and modified, as necessary, for reasons of national security.

Can you spell "forum shopping" for a favorable judge? Imagine the attorney general of the state of Washington being able to strategically pick a judge who allows his personal preferences to override his responsibility to respect the law and apply it properly rather than acting as an independent arbiter with the duty to respect and follow the law.

It was no accident that the case somehow ended up in the hands of this particular judge. Add to that the fact that the U.S. appellate court with authority over that particular federal district court is easily the most politically liberal in the U.S. federal judicial system.

Robart's ruling reads as if he is writing as the plaintiffs' lawyer rather than an unbiased judge in a critical dispute. As I read his ruling, it struck me that Robart was advocating on behalf of the states and doing his best to finesse the very high standards for temporary restraining orders through the use of conclusions rather than honest analysis. I don't have time to vet these tonight; proceed at your own risk.

quote:

Justice Department lawyers filed court papers Monday night arguing that only President Trump — not the judiciary — has the power to set national security and immigration policies. Their 15-page motion sought to have Trump’s travel ban reinstated on refugees as well as immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries. It was filed in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, which scheduled one hour of oral arguments in the case for 6 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.

The appeals court will hear arguments on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. ET, with each side getting 30 minutes of argument time conducted over the phone. The hearing will be live audio streamed on the court’s public website. Initially, the court said a recording of the call would be made public after the hearing.

For your information Njloco, I fought for your stupid ideology. I thought American was right.
NOT NOW.

Trumps General Mad-dog is a old worn out has-been that never was anything but a warmonger. Constantly selling your obsolete weapons to make way for a new batch.

Wise to lock yourselves away and hide behind your borders and let the rest of the world settle your stupid foreign affairs blundering.

France, England, Germany, all Europe is suffering the invasion you seeded.

Your hermaphroditic military forces couldn't beat time with a stick. They are too busy getting their rocks off to actually defeat even the most pathetic sandal wearing peasants. As we have all witnessed.

Now he wants a war with Iran, China, North Korea and God knows who else.
Dig a hole, quick.

Gee, if you just go on the completely justifiable position that George Soros is the prime evil rich guy on the planet.... this makes perfect sense.

I'm told by the conspiracy types the Rothschilds are still the dark forces behind it all... ; ) But since I never hear about them or the illuminati anymore, I can assume they aren't a factor, or that knowledge has been erased. : )

I feel sorry for Trump, inheriting all this previous stupidity.

Ah! now you start to get it.

Syria, Russia, China, etc. ALL Barry the Weasel's mess ups.

And a hearty bite me on your dissing U.S. troops of today. None of them have had anything bad to say about their brave Aussie allies, and if they were not allowed to defeat the terrorists, it's because the President didn't let them.

And to be fair, that idiocy varies from guy to guy. Clinton & Obama were the worst since LBJ. Bush the Younger was not so good at ROE's either. Jimmie can just bite me.

In My opinion the Civilian leaders have been screwing up since my Dad was in Korea in the 1950's. These undeclared wars with insane rules protecting the enemy have been bogus ever since.

You do get that the NEW guy isn't the same?

Might be worse, and I'd sure believe that if I believed CNN. Since I don't, I'm keeping an open mind.

FB1, thank you.

All I had was CNN said Trump lied, so I assumed there was indeed a terrorist connection with the home of the Corvette.

Now I have the 12,347'th confirmation that CNN is untrustworthy.

How Much Winning? Consider a Year Ago Today
By Sundance, 02/07/2015

The Mostly Swamp Media (MSM) are so good at gaslighting [that] many people lose sight of the big picture. There is not a day that goes by so far this year when CTH doesn’t look back at the calendar and say:

quote:

“Wow, a year ago today”... and start the day with a big grin.

A year ago today the New Hampshire primary was about to take place. A year ago today we had not yet had a primary win. A year ago today it was a campaign against all odds.

Today, a year later, we have President Donald Trump. If you are bogged down in the daily psy-ops from the media, just pause and think about this.

Additionally, beyond the simple thinking about it, contemplate how far we are walking in this current winning wonderland.

Dozens of companies have announced their intention to invest in American jobs and hire tens-of-thousands of Americans. The Stock Market is up 10% since the election, and consumer confidence is at its highest level in decades.

The head of the Department of Defense is General “Mad Dog” Mattis, the head of the Department of Homeland Security is General James Kelly; and we are about to gain Senator Jeff Sessions as U.S. Attorney General, and a conservative Supreme Court justice. Continue reading... -->

The only flaw in the gumball video is, by helping them where they live...the rich gumballs can't feel good about themselves like they do when they champion these immigration policies.

<sarcasm>

Honestly, the guy's spot-on. He could have gone from purely objective, to political, very easily - by suggesting that all the bleeding-heart liberals GO TO the poor to help, instead of bringing all the immigrants to us here in the USA.

But I guess that would be too inconvenient for the liberals. They'd have to give up their DirecTV; their internet; their Starbucks...their bragging rights among their liberal friends.

Or he could have, if he wanted to go political instead of objective, simply pointed out that it isn't the United States' job to save everyone on the planet. Does the world have issues? Yep. Does society at large have major problems that need to be dealt with? Sure does. But...SO DOES THE USA. And we've been so goddamned worried about everyone else on the planet that we've let our own backyard to go shit. I, for one (and judging by the electoral results I'm not alone), would like to see us trim the trees; mulch the garden; plant some flowers; cut the grass; paint the siding; fix the roof; and get our own house in order.

For a change.

THEN, we can see about joining the neighborhood watch.

This is certainly interesting; from Alex Padilla, California Secretary of State:

quote:

Home >> Elections and Voter Information >> Ballot Measures >> Initiative and Referendum Qualification Status

Initiatives and Referenda Cleared for Circulation

The Attorney General prepares a circulating title and summary of the chief purpose and points of a proposed initiative measure. Proposed initiative measures are cleared for circulation on the day the circulating title and summary is sent to the initiative proponent(s). No petition may be circulated for signatures before it has been cleared to do so by the Attorney General.

Please note: Counties have 8 working days after a proposed initiative measure's circulation deadline (Elections Code section 9030 (b)) to notify the Secretary of State's Office if any petition signatures were received. If no signatures are submitted, a proposed initiative measure will fail on the 9th working day after its circulation deadline.

quote:

1795. (16-0011A1)
California Nationhood. Initiative Constitutional Amendment and Statute.
Summary Date: 01/26/17 | Circulation Deadline: 07/25/17 | Signatures Required: 585,407
Proponent: Marcus Evans president@yescalifornia.org

Repeals provision in California Constitution stating California is an inseparable part of the United States and that the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Places question of whether California should become a separate country on a future ballot. Treats result of such future vote as declaration of independence from the United States if 50 percent of registered voters participate and 55 percent of those voting approve. Requires Governor to request California admission to the United Nations if voters approve independence. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local government: The fiscal impact of this measure is dependent on various factors, including a vote by the people on this measure, a subsequent vote on California independence, possible legal challenges, and implementation issues. Assuming that California actually became an independent nation, the state and its local governments would experience major, but unknown, budgetary impacts. This measure also would result in tens of millions of dollars of one-time state and local election costs. (16-0011.)

*Elections Code section 9034 requires that once proponent(s) of a proposed initiative measure have gathered 25% of the number of signatures required (currently 91,740 for an initiative statute and 146,352 for a constitutional amendment) proponent(s) must immediately certify that they have done so under penalty of perjury to the Secretary of State.

Upon receipt of the certification, the Secretary of State must provide copies of the proposed initiative measure and the circulating title and summary to the Senate and the Assembly. Each house is required to assign the proposed initiative measure to its appropriate committees and hold joint public hearings, at least 131 days before the date of the election at which the measure is to be voted on. However, the Legislature cannot amend the proposed initiative measure or prevent it from appearing on the ballot.

I don't think the US will be so willing to let California leave ... if only because of the strategic importance of both the LA and San Francisco ports. Many other considerations too.
