He likes to be called Mr. Trump. I will feel honored to call him Mr. President. I have not wanted to say that in a very long time. Mr. President!

God forbid we have some semblance of MANNERS in our country again.

I still believe that's at the core of all the cop shootings and riots and mouthy actors - absolutely ZERO RESPECT for others. Sure they profess "rights" for all the different groups and genders and all that crap...but the basics are gone. Ignored.

"Cop shot my husband. He needs to go to jail".

Um...how about "don't point a gun at the cop to begin with?"

Respect.

We can use an infusion of the stuff.

Lead by example, Mr. President.

President Elect Trump's behavior probably wasn't the best during that press conference but I tried to remember the last time any member of the press yelled at the President or the President Elect like that CNN reporter did. That, to me, was a total lack of respect and he would not have dared act that way towards Obama.

That reporter should have been ejected before it ever got that far.

My opinion is that the whole thing was scripted.

Once in office, Trump should instruct the Sergeant at Arms to escort from the building any reporter who shows disrespect for the office of president. The offending party should not be allowed to return until he/she issues a public apology. Do that once or twice and things ought calm down.

I watched the video expecting the worst (which probably helped).

I don't appreciate people being rude. But the whole thing didn't bother me a bit. The reporter was the one willing to disrupt the entire process to get his way, and didn't even do so artfully.

I agree with Stroke. Escort him out, make sure he can't come back, and tell CNN they have to send somebody else if they want to attend. Repeat until they send someone civil.

In the old days chivalry, whoever is where Trump was would have responded politely but firmly three times. Then when the fourth was necessary, walked over and decked the guy. And they then would throw him out and resume the conference.

I also agree. I don't care for Obama one bit, yet I felt that the jackass who yelled out, "You're a Liar!" should have been taken away immediately. Even if you don't like the individual, you should show respect for the Office. Common courtesy is getting to be as rare as common sense.

..the jackass who yelled out, "You're a Liar!

Was that the time he lied about the Supreme Court to the Justice's faces, and one spoke up?

Or one of his myriad other lies and a private citizen who has no right to speak in the presence of the God King?

Just checking if I have the incident right, and if you think I should be flogged for calling him Barry the Weasel?

I respect the office. The President works for us. He's hired help, and deserves the respect any janitor or waiter or stripper should get.

Ok, not as much as a stripper. ; )

They've been taught to disrespect the establishment. The soon to be former president told them to.

Mao Zedong would be quite proud of what the Soros/Clinton/Obama machines have done to the young and impressionable of America today. Throw down the wealthy, the educated, the moral, the hard working family man. They're all slave masters and we're the victims. Rise up and take what's theirs because we're all equal, which means that you're more important than they are. Everyone is equal, and that's why your opinion is more important than anyone who disagrees with you. Use violence against them, because they're not as equal as you are.

It's the Cultural Revolution all over again. Thank God Clinton did not get elected.

Hold on. While I'm as opposite on Obama's policies as you can get, he's done a couple of good things, even if for the wrong reasons.

DODT, Don't Ask Don't Tell policy of the Clinton admin. was tossed out by Barry. If you can think of a more amoral, twisted policy than "we aren't allowed to ask, you aren't allowed to tell us, but if we catch you we will prosecute." please tell me.

What Barry replaced it with is a bit messed up, but these things will settle out after a while, and starting from honesty has to be better than starting from deceit.

The Wet foot dry foot thing, if I understand it, is a legacy idiocy of the Cold War. Dumping it is potentially a good thing, for similar reasons. Sure, Barry is using it to make nice with his soulmate the surviving Castro brother and the Leftist world at large.

However, this just dumps the who gets to stay, back in the hands of the new regime who can give Cubans expedited entry on the good old "fleeing a brutal dictatorship" clause, which still applies.

It all depends on how Congress & the new guys act.

For sure IIWT, ( If I Was Trump ) I'd have a team working to analyze all the executive actions of the last few decades and prepare to nuke so many of them that it confuses the enemy, CNN. ; )

Philosophically, consider that Barry in his scorched earth phase here in his final days in office, may in his Godzilla like death throes, trample nearly as much bad Washington Crap as the good. You can hope. : )

I'm no fan of illegal aliens. That being said, when a human being is fleeing from a brutal dictatorship, floats across a shark infested strait, and actually makes it...

I say those people get to stay. Get them into the system, working, paying taxes and assimilated.

The alternative is send them back to be murdered. That's what happens to them when we send them back. Murdered.

I can't abide it. I hope Trump reverses that bullshit on day one.

It's not idiotic. It puts pressure on the Castro government. It puts the lie to the pretty face that the left puts on their little workers paradise in the Caribbean. People are dying to leave, in much the same way people were dying to leave East Germany.

What's idiotic is.... step on beach, you're in. Get picked up half dead by Coast guard six feet deeper, you go back.

That's cruel. And a give to Castro. Dump the stupid.

Barry's doing it for evil reasons, rot his soul.

But the new guys can fix Barry's executive action. Let them in even when they haven't made the beach.

"Get picked up half dead by Coast guard six feet deeper, you go back."

Absolutely agree. But I've seen video of border patrol agents half heartedly trying to stop people from getting to dry sand, and then putting an arm around them to help them walk up the beach.

Sure. That's because they understand just how idiotic that policy is. I've never understood it myself. Do you want to let them in or not? Only the ones who can manage to cross a certain arbitrary line (literally drawn in the sand)? We are currently fighting the same sort of idiotic policies with people crossing the US/Mexico border. We are actually rewarding those who would violate our laws. Talk about stupidity!

What's typical here is that the Hillary/Barry folk are screaming ( literally ) that Trump will destroy the Holy Ways.

While Barry goes scorched earth and is burning bridges as fast as he can, and the carnage to the established order is entirely his fault & desire.

But sometimes the "way we've always done it" is based on wrong ideas and does more harm than good.

Trump's Administration's challenge is to follow through on Barry's actions and turn around his evil intent to good purpose.

Nothing would anger Barry more.

By their enemies you will know them.

The Hillary/Obama crowd makes death threats to blind singers.

Betrays allies. Supports cruel dictatorships. Smuggles weapons to drug gangs and Arab terrorists, and lies about.....everything. felony violations of security. Felony destruction of evidence.

No one who hadn't watched this year's events would believe the list of crimes committed by the Hillary campaign and democrat party leadership.

Me, I don't like his style but even I have to admit Donald is a freaking saint by comparison.

We have an old guy at work that sometimes stirs up the masses. People around me talk about how stupid he is. Every time they are talking about him, he slides something by. I started checking on him one day and was amazed at his credentials. His thesis was on off gassing of plastics during temperature change in both directions. I've spent enough time with him to garner a huge respect for him. Mr. Trump may do just fine.

O.k. this is the best, CNN polls reveal division ahead of inauguration and other polls say Trump is least popular President elect.
O.k. then one of the pundits says that the pre election polls were correct because Hillary did get the majority of the people's vote, they left out all the other BS, like how Hillary was going to blow him out of the water and, that there was ABSOLUTELY NO path to 267 for Trump.

Never mind that Trump blew her out of the water by electorial votes and how many states went Republican plus all of the down election positions the Regressive's lost !

What a joke, now they're going to be putting out BS for at least the next for years and hopefully eight years.
