It's also a year when hope is returning to a majority of Americans.

I took advantage of a 53 degree day Friday and put 15 or 20 miles on the 1190RS.
It had been a couple of weeks of crap weather and no riding so I feel a bit recharged now.

Today I am Owner/Operator of Tad's Hindsight Engineering, dba Headstrong Machining.
It's a small machine shop specializing in H-D/Buell headwork.
Moving the 2 mills to Longmont this week.

Starting a big new phase at 62... I'm a Small-business man.

Good for you Zac-4mac, I wish you well in your new endeavor, and when I get up your way I'll look your shop up and say hello.

Ha! as a person that had bought a "lightly used" 1979 Honda Prelude for $83, I can appreciate the prime number thing.

That car was worth $50/ton but my friend and I bought it for destructive fun.

The clownshoe car dealers were asking $150 for it. We made the offer and they idiots tried to talk us up to $85.
"$83 or we walk!" so they agreed. We shook on the deal, gave them $90 and made them give us CHANGE.

That "car" almost made it home too. The rest of the trip was finished with my Dodge van pushing.

Made it to church this morning. Located and bought AmsOil 20w50 v-twin Synthetic for 10$ a quart. Took Lil Red out for a 25 mile ride. Swapped oil and a filter. While the filter was off I noticed a hole where the nut and bolt should be on the front muffler bracket where it bolts to the engine. When American Sport Bike was closing I ordered that nut and bolt.

There it was in my spares box.
