If the data was gotten through hacking, would it validate the study? Of course, that's only a single explanation of deriving the data, and one that I doubt is what was done. There are all sorts of creative ways of analyzing data. I really don't know what kinds of data would be available to determined ones legal status. Often, combining information from various sources can tell you things about an individual, that cant be determined from any of your individual sources. That was a big part of what we did when I worked in Direct Marketing in the 80s & 90s. Some companies were quite secretive about what they did with their analysis, others had us do the crunching for them. It's possible that they used a combination of demographic and habit data that simply gives them a 97% probability of being correct in their determination of an individual. (Just a WAG on the percentage and method) Could that lead to a valid number on how many illegals voted? I would argue that it could, within a certain margin of error. Lets say your margin of error is really bad, like 25%. I would normally hate to use such a poor number for anything, but if it means that 3 million +/- 25% voted illegally, what does that tell you? It tells me there's a boat load of voter fraud going on. Having said all of that, you raise a very good point. How did they determine a voter's status? It's a key point to understand that validity of the studies claim. It's also very possible that there's many more illegals voting that they couldn't identify. | ||

Trump is going to have to . . . soon . . start acting like a President and not a game show host. He made LOTS of big promises and the people and media are not going to let him wiggle out of them. He's going to quickly have to come to the realize that his kids are nice looking and fairly articulate . . . but we didn't elect them nor do we need them. There is not reason in the world, since they are ostensibly going to be "running the family business while he is away" to have them as "national security advisors" nor do they need Security Clearances. I think he also needs to understand that as President . . chatting with young Eric about any confidential information is inappropriate and a crime. Period. In addiiton, if they can't either close that Twitter account ir shut him down . . he may be the first President ever Tweeted out of office. He's got lots of work to do and, at present, they appear to be as much in turmoil as organized. One theory is that they never really, deep in their heart, intended to win and we caught off guard by the sheer massive about of work required for the transition. I'm hoping that he also makes wise decisions about appointments. Rudy Gulliani, who I like, is a great guy . . he is NOT a Secretary of State. We shall see . . . . | ||

I've many friends, 6 of the folks in my current class at Columbia are in family businesses, much like Trumps, doing development in Manhattan. But he's got a long way to go from being a New York Developer to being President. Against staggering odds, he is, in fact, President-Elect Trump. He has, as he's always done, surrounded himself with the best and brightest folks, this time to guide and counsel him during the transition process. There's not a lightweight in the bunch. The constant crap we're hearing from the MSM about this, that and the other regarding Trump is just that: Crap. Up to 249 reviews now on Amazon, currently rated at 1.7 stars out of possible 5 (80% of the reviewers have rated her new book only 1 star): I'm guessing obvious attempt at stacking the deck. It looks like many of those reviews have been deleted. I can only assume Amazon would only do that where they have obvious evidence of foul play (a bunch of reviews from the same IP address?). I don't have a dog in this fight, other than facts. I don't plan on reading her book. I do like her as a news anchor. She had some valid criticisms of Trump, and Trump handled it poorly IMO. If Trump can't learn what battles to fight, he is bound to be far less successful than he can be. I'm hoping for him to do well, but I'm not going to be a blind fan. This echoes my sentiments exactly. When I look at the person we saw in the first or so 12 months compared to the last 3-4 weeks of the campaign...big difference in demeanor and persona. There is a simple, and logical explanation; There is an organized effort to smear Megyn Kelly, and Amazon is doing the right thing in trying to scrub the fake reviews that they can identify. People always manipulate those reviews, and I'm sure Amazon has ways to try and detect and correct them, that are imperfect and sometimes over or under correct. To make good use of them, you actually have to read the criticisms critically and intuitively. You can still be fooled, but it would take a lot of work to do so. It's generally pretty easy to tell the real reviews from the astro turf (fake pro) and axe to grind (fake negative). |
