Even though I'm a Joss Whedon fan his last big tv show was so offensive to my moral code I couldn't watch it. "Dollhouse" was a mind wiped prostitution business where rich people could rent programmed humans equipped with skills & personality to suit. Bodyguard date slave with a fine appreciation for music & fine dining, for the Brahms fundraiser? No problem sir. Of course we wipe her memory after so you can make your drug deal or arms sale to the Syrian ISIS terrorists, have her murder the reluctant coke dealer & screw your brains out with no payback or security threat. Blonde or brunette, Senator? The subtext that this horror is going down in flames from the hubris of it's management with great acting, writing & a level of cinematic violence that made "Spartacus, Blood & Sand" seem like a Disney Princess movie just couldn't save it for me. | ||
