I don't know what I am shocked by more... that Trump is winning by a solid margin, or that the NYT is actually doing solid journalism... Except their charts show their bias. Their statistical models were supposed to mirror the outcomes, so those plots should not have changed over time. The fact that they had huge swings means their models had huge flaws, or saying it another way the American people changed in radical ways. | ||

I suspect we are seeing radical change here. Think on it. This is the first time *I* can remember that corruption and "aren't you tired of being screwed" was a main focus of the election. Sure...there were the 60s and the "don't trust the man"...but this is different. This...could actually be the start of some real change. | ||

The plus side is, on the odd chance Trump loses, Hillary will be relatively impotent, just like Obummer, and will be stuck playing political games to sway policy and furiously writing executive orders. Liberal heads may explode, and it will be glorious. | ||
