RIP Bob Hoover. I got to meet him once at an airshow in Houston. Super nice guy. He displayed amazing energy management in the Super Aerocommander he performed with.

..he sure was...and a big main stay in these parts...Carson Valley and Reno area(Reno Air Races).I live in Carson City,just down the road from Stead,just north of Reno where the races are actually held and he was a huge huge part of being a big part of it in so many aspects....miss him..."God is his co-pilot" now....LT
