Let's see now... This year so far I've put more miles on my bicycle than on my Buells. This year so far I've put more miles on my running and walking shoes than I've put on my bicycles. Lately my knees have been killing me and I've been limping for a month and it feels like something snags on something in the back of my knees. I should have been riding the Buells more, I guess that's what my knees are telling me. How about you? What is your Buell mileage so far this year? |

I've only put on a few hundred miles if that much. I should sell it to someone that is going to ride it.... |

Not as many as I used to. Old? Dunno. Working a shit-ton more than ever before so that may be part of it - needing the truck more often than not. I've also been cycling more. Trying to slow the inevitable...keep the cardio in check, drop some of the belly, keep the rebuilt legs as in-shape as 2lbs of titanium can be! Fall is here though and I'm doing a lot more riding to work. Can't remember the last time I just "went for a ride"...but at least my commute has plenty of good twisties! |

With my twins, I have not been able to do much more than commute to work twice weekly. Perhaps a few thousand this year between the two operational bikes. When I first got my X1, I got over 20,000 on it in the first year. I got my money's worth from the warranty you bet! |

I only lived 1.2 miles from my work site so couldn't pile up any mileage there. Plus the bike was down for quite a while with a problem for O2 sensor and cracked ECM. In the last year I only logged about 1500 miles. That's really sad. I'm moving in the near future and hope to be able to ride a bit more in the coming year. I live in hope. |

Zane said "I only lived 1.2 miles from my work site" Me too. I've got 2 miles to work, so I go riding after work to put the miles (and the heat) on whichever bike I choose that week. Helps me clear my head before heading home. About 8,000 this year. Most of them on the S2T. |

This year has been terrible. I put the bikes in storage in Michigan early, prepping to move. Moving got delayed, as happens with these things. Was still planning on Buells in the Alps event, but wound up with a house closing on that Monday, so had to cancel that. Since the move, it's been very busy with things. At least the little bit of riding I have been able to get in has been much better quality than where I used to live. There is hope! |

..super goose egg with what happened to me in February(almost becoming a sack of fertilizer for the garden-ruptured main artery next to my abdomin-doc said if i'd of gotten to the ER any later than i did, i wouldn't of made it) and now dealing with a lateral hernia next to my Mr. Johnson...and...and now i have been dealing with cancer...found that out about 2 + months ago (rectal tumor in the tookus-good thing is the cancer is only in the tumor-biopsy came back with that result...whew!!!!- and not spread to anywhere else-got done with 6 weeks of chemo and radiation....worst thing to have done to one's body, but when the medical insurance through work only covers that,i had no choice ...personally i would of gone with natural remedies if i could of afforded it....believe in the ways are so much more "friendlier" to one's body and no stupid side effects which i'm still dealing with UGH! and getting back all the body mass and strength from the earlier time in the hospital..)Man,i will oh so be glad when THIS year is done gone and behind me.Go from not much going on in my life other than the usual hum drum to all of that.....well let's get all of that out of the way and move on to more fun stuff....like getting back to the "to do list" on ole Buella B, as i call the ole gal and get those many projects once and for all done that i started to do just before all of this "wonderful and fun filled" events happened this year....did i say how thrilled i'd be when this year is behind me?..... |

I'm putting in about 12k a year on the DR. I used to bike it to work a few days a week when work was a bit closer. My bicycle is a bit broken right now as is the Buell. Need to fix 'em both one of these years. Walk a few miles every day, but that's only because suiting up to go down the street is silly. |

Putting lots of miles on the bicycle prepping for a triathlon. Managed to put over 200 on the Glide working the Ironman Championship. But with 4 motos I have to spread the love around. And I live on an island that is only 222 miles around, 270 if I add the Kohala coast. |

Maybe 800 miles on the XB,another 600 miles on the X1 and perhaps 2000 on the ST2
quote:I should sell it to someone that is going to ride it....
I've considered that but with these beautiful bikes only worth a few thousand i'll keep them..I wouldn't part/w my X1 for less than 7k and my XB the same...Sorry,i'll keep them. |

Only around 3000 miles on Buells this year as I've been riding Triumphs most of the time. That's changing as the Useless is broken in so it's back to 500 miles a week commuting on it. So far so good on the refurb, oil level appears to be holding steady. |

For the last decade I've put on around 9k a year. I think this year I've only managed around 6k this year. I plan on making up for it next year. I will be doing another extended trip with friends and on a separate trip with another friend I'm planning on doing my Iron butt also. I'm hoping to roll 50k by the end of next riding season. |

I second that for Ltbuell. Oh I've put a little over 6000 on the M2. It has over 100,000 now. |

I've only put about 20 miles on my Buell this year, as I quickly found out after I purchased it that it had serious transmission problems. But I have managed to put about 21000 miles on my Tenere, 6500 on my DR650, 9500 on my Beemer, and about 3500 on the Hardley. Looking forward to tearing down the Buell this winter, and repairing the trans, as well as going through the rest of the bike.
