Cataract seems to be a useful idiot and coward.

I could be wrong. He just may have a hard time defining his beliefs.

He could be so ignorant of history he didn't know Socialism is a lie by it's intended nature.

Never read Marx ( not the funny ones )
Thinks Alinsky is a travel app.
Uses eBay as a fact checker.
Makes great pizza with those mushrooms that pop up in the woods behind his house when it rains.
Lost the mushroom identification guide he got for Solstice.
Thinks the Heisenberg uncertainty principle means there might be another season of Breaking Bad.
Thinks Big Bang Theory is a documentary.

the primary reason that we are here as a family

No, the primary reason is that Buells are overly problematic and people need help.

lol. Patrick, do you really think I bother to read any of that drivel you post? You spend all day posting talking points in this echo chamber it really is pathetic. Do you even have a job? Because you sure do seem to have a lot of time to post the latest echo for the rest of the empty-headed losers on here to read and eat up.

I would like to correct Alfau. The primary reason people are here is because they like to sit around giving each other a hand job over the latest conservative blog posting.

Actually I'm stuck at home after major surgery. Looking forward to going back to my Union Job and earning overtime.

That's why I sometimes post at insane hours. My sleep cycle is all messed up.

A pity you are too much of a coward to have an actual discussion. I'm curious what you actually believe. It's a remote possibility you have actual good points to share. Increasingly that seems unlikely.

And, I'm not a conservative.

I like the Band Rush. Not the talking head.

Don't you guys find it amusing he's trolling the Liberal here?

And seems completely unable or unwilling to discuss any real subjects in a rational way.

Unwilling to test his convictions in the fires of truth.

Feel free to correct me on any errors I have made.

Except my willingness to mock the cowards. If Blake or the Moderators ask I will pretend to ignore the Useful Idiots.

And, to be Clear, I'm not talking about Alfau. He has some problems, but on occasion he brings up some good points. Tells some funny jokes too. I'm Willing to go a long way for a person that is trying.

It is always worth repeating that Buell/Badweb people are some of the best on the planet. I have known this since 2002. Buell/Badweb people go out of their way to help others with moral, mechanical, and financial needs regardless of political or religious beliefs. We don't always agree but we are like a big healthy family that often hurls mashed potatoes across the table at each other. And that's all I have to say about that.

Buell people tend to have a passion for motorcycles with a unique character. Their owners tend to be relatively like minded. This is one of the greatest communities on the web. It is a reason why a lot of the same names continually pop up decades later. Nobody here is very interested in boring bikes, and despite very diverse backgrounds most tend to be adventurous sorts that value their freedom.

Funny how people of a certain ideological leaning find it necessary to attack that, continually.

In Cat's case, he just openly brags about not bothering to read my crap.

Fair enough, I'm a bit long winded. I also write like I talk, with digressions and side notes.

I do that because I actually have references for some of this stuff, and I feel the need to keep them connected. It seems like a bad textbook to make a statement that may not be believed, and at the end of the page tack on the back story. Glossaries are for the curious.

If I say "Trump has done x before" then if you are anti Trump you just buy it, and if a fan, reject it and won't bother with the boring facts after the impassioned statement. Neither is wise.

So I say "Trump has done X before, ( as seen on nickelodian when he stomped a Muppet ) and then move on....

Makes for long rambling sentences. I'll work on that.

This is not football. What happened eight years ago to the Detroit Lions has nothing t do with the team today. No one really cares what a second string halfback thinks about vegan terrorism. His opinion doesn't affect your life unless you let it.

This is History. The dirty boring part that get's ignored in all the textbooks because the writers assume you understand the King is a Fink. And unlike that halfback and his chain of rib joints, The king can kill you.

You just can't ignore President X & Congress if they decide to ban stuff you like. You can't get it any more.

Sometimes these people go nuts with the taxes & fees and it hurts the people & the economy. ( see Laffer Curve & just look at the numbers )

Like football, you can look at the track record of an ideology over time, and it's score in human suffering vs. happiness.

On that basis, Hillary's team sucks by a murderously high score, overall.

Ideologically Trumps pretty far left, and a natural Democrat. ( they can say badword, but not a Republican )

Heck, put that way, Trump was a Democrat when he said badword! That's hilarious.

also.

I find it incredible that the New York Times publishes a piece on how the VA system & the Pentagon screws the Veterans and uses the vast stocks of WMD's we actually did destroy in Iraq as the example. Apparently it's not PC to admit the guys with nerve or mustard gas damage were exposed to WMD's, since the Pravda is they didn't exist.

I'm full bore in agreement on the NYT's attitude that this unfairness and deception on the part of our government deserves to be corrected no matter who's in charge.

I'm flabbergasted that the NYT just out and contradicts years of it's own propaganda by finally reporting the truth, and then just moves on with no one seeming to notice. It's a mental illness of denial and deception. Dang.

Blake,
I think you have to have a hierarchy of political beliefs.

I support the gay married couple's right to bear arms to protect themselves.

Because we share the fundamental philosophy of the American Revolution. Man is imperfect and governments are imperfect too. There must be limits to government's power. There must also be an appreciation that those limits means it can't do everything.

A rejection of the State as Mommy the All Powerful. ( aka Big Brother )

You can start from there and argue tax policy later, even religion.

But, I could be wrong.

Besides, it's humor pointed at the drama on both sides of the political spectrum. "nuke the unborn baby whales"

GAWWDDD I SO appreciate you saying that. Planning to make it to Suches GA on 11/11, and I'm acutely aware that it's directly after the election.

My agenda: Riding, eating good stuff with friends, drinking good stuff with friends, and just having a $hit-eating grin-generating good time.

Still can't even figure out why you keep losing in elections or in court.

Your suggesting that the majority is always correct. That can't be further from the truth and your ignorance of that fact shows just how little you know which is, generally, the defect with liberals - they filter information through their emotions and not by critical thinking. Oh, and they LIE. They are very good at it, so good, in fact, they can convince themselves of their own lies.

Do you want Ryan deciding to censor your speech? Ban books? The Dems do.

Harry Reid had them vote to cancel the First Amendment.

Of course they figure they will be in charge of that. & will be.

That certainly appears to be the case. Of course, as a response to these accusations, the result is always baseless insults and a predictable set of labels.

It's a dangerous and toxic ideology.

I'll repeat the useless complaint that "Liberal" is a term stolen by the Progressives, just as their name is a mask for "communist, but revolution doesn't work in America since the Peasants have it better than Kings elsewhere, so we'll take over from within and make America the Soviet State by lying about everything".... a name that just doesn't test market well.

What we are trying to preserve, Conservative and Olde School Liberal alike, is "Liberal Western Civilization". The post Aristocracy world. A place where anyone can get ahead if they work hard enough.

The Clintons are the opposite. Progressive is really Regressive. After more than a century of Marxism laying waste to most of the planet, a few things are now clear.

The Purpose of Socialism/Communism/Stateism, is to kick out the old Czars & Kings and put New ones in their place.

The Method is to preach hate, divide into groups, and lie.

After all, "we want you to charge the barricades while we have steak dinners and will move in after to take over." Doesn't sell all that well.

"Once we use you students to soak up the current regime's bullets, we'll put you up against the wall and have you shot because after we win, we sure don't want people we trained to overthrow a government around once we're in charge" Doesn't inspire that much loyalty.

And, "Every country that has adopted this system has gone broke and hurt private business to the point that only organized crime, and the Glorious leaders, have power or luxury." Just doesn't appeal to a generation that spends more on phones than the previous one did on cars. And more on cars than the previous one did on homes.

Let's not forget a well planned and brilliantly executed take over of the education system that results in the most connected generation ever, with the lowest actual knowledge base.

So why be surprised when we have a supposedly viable third party candidate who doesn't know the name of the city the Russians are Bombing the Obama backed terrorists in, the likely flash point for nuclear war, & the conquest of Europe. Or who's suffering the genocide in progress.

OTOH he's sure to make Pot Legal, so he has a core support that might remember it's election day.

You just can't make up how messed up this is.

One thing that's on repeat is the idea that if you can pick an opponent who is a loser, you win. This was done with McCain by Obama, and now Trump by Hillary. At this rate the next cycle will have the head of the Westboro Baptist Church running against Chelsea.

>>>That certainly appears to be the case. Of course, as a response to these accusations, the result is always baseless insults and a predictable set of labels.

That, based on my experience, is dead accurate.

IU've tried to conduct conversations with a couple very liberal friends. The moment I ask them to simply "listen" to a view point . . . they go off the edge screaming, shutting off the radio/tv and close their eyes.

I wondered how these folks got so blind to simple and clear facts. To do so requires one to have both a closed mind and closed eyes. They have raised it to an art form. Common sense, to these folks, is akin to sunlight to a beetle.

I get a kick out of one of the smaller, and more fun to play with, minds here on Badweb. Whenever cornered and looking stupid . . . he always goes with the only fact he has in his quiver. . . that I am fat.

Duh . . . what else is new.

No one ever guessed the stupid would reach such a large number. But, legislation has assured that the very principles that built this nation are "offensive" to talk about . . . religion, sweat equity, and hard work.

We've gestated a generation of folks who walk like zombie, staring at their iPhones . . . meandering about.

Shame.
