I understood and agreed with your point. My point was that there is no need to buy into and perpetuate those lies when there are plenty of real lies and scandals to focus on. Oh, no offense at all, nor was it taken wrong... just yelling "My opponent is a liar and cannot be trusted".  Any guesses what next week's, or tomorrow's, fake-anti-Hillary-to-trap-conservative-bloggers ploy will be? A "leaked" closeup of the charging cable plugged into Hillary's skull? I'm still laughing (perhaps should be crying) over my recent experience. I went to register in New Jersey, the day following an impassioned lecture by a Democrat friend about how terrible it was to require someone to present an I.D at a polling place, and guess what? Yep, the first thing I have to provide to register is a Drivers License or other similar form of government issued ID. Turns out you need the same darn thing to get about anything from the government from food stamps to medicaid to housing assistance. It's a really screwed up system and we are all victims in one way or another. I've got no opinion on the validity of Obama's Presidency and suffered through a dinner party last night in the company of 5 wealthy New Yorkers who thought he was "one of the greatest thinkers of modern times" . . . constrained from saving society only by an evil Republican Congress. They explained to me how Obama had taken an economy in the tank, with the Dow at 6,000, and saved the country. They cited the Dow, now at record levels. I questioned them about QE . . . . when the Obama administration was essentially just printing money and dumping it into the economy to stave off a disaster, and they knew nothing about it. They cited his "saving GM" and were unaware that investors, who had bought federally insured debt instruments, had been tossed under the bus, their accounts wiped out, in favor of the union in a last minute deal. We've evolved into a country run by liars and folks who repeat and believe the lies where we look to football and basketball players for thoughtful insight as the one's who pray are chastised and the one's disrespecting the National Anthem are praised for their bravery and courage . . . yeah, the same idiots who have never served a day in the service of the country. Amazing really. That a group of people pretty much had it all and allowed a group of lazy bastards to take it from them. But . . at least the news is always fun to watch and, in the event Hillary wins . . . she's always going to be asking herself, while in her new office, "what is that spot on the carpet?" | ||

I read the book "Crisis of Character" by Gary Byrne, the Secret Service office stationed at the door of the Oval Office during the Bill Clinton Presidency. It's scary. The book is a bit mushy and Byrne wanders off on some tangents that only partially support the book, but the facts will scare you. A part of me . . . not a big Clinton fan . . . was thinking "no way all of this can be true" and I kept wandering . . ."where is the slander and libel lawsuit?" Then it dawned on me. Someone really CAN be that bad. The American people are so out of touch with facts and so conscripted to a system that allows them to believe what they want not what they see or what the facts support, that they are neigh upon getting exactly what they deserve. Hillary Clinton, as President, would be a game changer. The polls are tighter and tighter. But, count me among those convinced that that results were determined long ago. The polls are tighter and tighter. It's important to remember that polls are often agenda-driven, particularly in a presidential campaign. A good polling company can provide you with exactly the polling results your agenda desires, 100% of the time. The "internals" of a poll are critical to understanding how the pollster achieved their results In that vein, I'm reading lately of national polls that are incredibly over-sampled on behalf of Clinton, well into the D+ double-digit range. The democrats control the mainstream media. They also control the pollsters, IMO. In this day and age it would be difficult, if not impossible, to believe otherwise. | ||

For Dutterte it's a low hanging fruit to attack the drug gangs. I suspect that being tough on that aspect of crime gives him a rallying cry for his base, and can act as a distraction from other problems. Consider the probable reaction of Barack Hussein Obama if another world leader gave him public crap about his inhumane and unconstitutional actions re: gun control, or race baiting? Barry's not above flashing the bird, and ALL his minions would be on the talk shows slamming the foreign idiot. Or consider Hillary's reaction if a world leader pointed out after she took power, that she wasn't the legit President, because of voter fraud, and complained about her being a tool of the Arab Oil Sheiks. They'd get nuked, if she could find the nuke code card, ( Bill lost his ) and we still had a military. | ||
