It's not often you get to witness world class blues up close and personal in one of the West Coast's oldest (and smallest) clubs, Baked Potato.
We bought tickets to Groove Legacy http://www.groovelegacy.com/ with an unannounced "Special Guest" a couple months back.
We get there to find out that they're playing with "special guest" Joe Bonamassa!
If you don't dig the blues, you don't know what you're missing.
Amazing group of studio musicians banded together to form Groove Legacy. Add in Bonamassa... let's just say it was worth staying up past our bedtime on a school night.

Wow!!!! Amazing in all respects. Music, sound (listened on the computer only), mix and the talent! Thank you so much Slaughter for posting this and bringing them to my attention, will be looking up their stuff. Ishai
It was an awesome experience to have paid $22.50 and be able to sit just 4 steps from the stage. Not a bad seat in the house.
It was so cool that Joe played and sang as if he was playing lead guitar and vocals on a couple Groove Legacy original tunes. Definitely not playing a role as a celebrity guest.
What was really cool for us is that the Father of one of our designers at work is Josh Sklair: 2 time grammy winning blues guitarist and Etta James producer/manager for past 20 years until her death. He took the time to introduce us to the band members since they'd all worked together before around the country and world.
