I've been loving all their songs I've heard so far on my local and beloved station, WDVX, bought tickets to see them here on 9/28. Told my sis about them a little while ago as she's driving home to N. LR, AR... said I'd email her some info. Youtubed long enuf to find THIS. OMG. I'm moist. Holy Crap. Haven't had a chance to pipe that through the hi-fi, but I will. A Clockwork Orange is easily one of my favorite movies. Groundbreaking sound production and music here. I've learned that a LOT of great music is found on movie soundtracks. | ||

9 1/2 Weeks is a horrible representation of B&D. Or so I'm told.  Great tunes though. I was at the Dodge dealer, chatting with the service manager, and I told him I'd made a deliberately "diverse" disc to play in my car, and let the software set the order, and had refused to look at what order stuff was in just so I'd be surprised on the road trip I made it for. First song up was "Stairway To Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. Next was "Warrior" by Disturbed. Yeah, THAT will keep you awake on a long trip. He laughed and told me his wife had caught Disturbed on Conan, and just loved them. "What a wonderful voice, why haven't I heard this band?". He then had to show her what else they did.... I don't even claim to be a Disturbed fan, but I love this video, and damn, they are tight. | ||

Very powerful rendition of a classic song. I think I like the Disturbed version better. Used to listen to the Simon and Garfunkel version over and over when I was young. It was a tough time in my life and this version brought back all of those memories and emotions with an incredible force. It's how my soul sounded and felt when I listened to the original. Thanks for posting that. I think I need to go call my big sister now... | ||

Until recently I never had a vehicle with a radio and I am not one to wear headphones while riding or driving so I never get to hear any new bands. I also don't watch too much TV or movies and most of my screen time is playing video games (not often lately). It's funny that I have found some pretty good bands by playing video games. I finally got around to piping in that vid through the hi-fi. WOW. Didn't expect the sound quality to be that good! And, crying tears of joy AGAIN. Don't miss it. Music lovers, I'm just sayin'. I'll look into the others... might be funnin' on Youtube vids more often now. No wonder Zuckerberg or whazzisface has more money than God. | ||

Speaking of Movie tunes... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hole_in_My_Heart_(All_the_Way_to_China) "Vibes" was a very funny movie. By all means "netflix" it and sit back with popcorn & a soda. The song, however, was one of those, "you can't get it" tunes for years.
