Awesome news! A very good buddy/coworker and his lady had a baby girl yesterday, "CJ", or Charlotte Jean. Fun times! Along with a few of the items they needed on their registry, I made sure to get them a DVD copy of "Parenthood", with Steve Martin. Be sure to get yerself a copy, watch it with your honey. | ||

Congratulations. My little girl is 1 and a half. She is the love of my life. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but my little girl it the most important person in the galaxy. We have our own songs and rhymes and words, I know what her different cries mean, and I know how to make her laugh so hard that she gets hiccups. We recently moved her to a toddler bed that she can get out of by herself. Every night she wakes up around 3 am and walks into our bedroom saying, "hi! hi!" I gladly scoop her up into our bed and she laughs and clutches my neck, then falls immediately fast asleep again. She is the most precious thing I have ever seen. The toughest of men are broken by the weakest of children. They are truly a blessing. Edit: Also somewhat similar to your situation, my daughter missed my wife's birthday by ~16 hours. I constantly get them mixed up when I'm filling out legal documents. (Message edited by torquehd on September 02, 2016) | ||
