Brankin, Email the pic to yourself at 10% size. Save that pic. Then post it from the file. Or, type it in. |

Fwiw, I've found that I can upload photos to Facebook, then open them on new page, copy that whole link, and wrap it in image tags to post the pics here. |

Were there any LAP folks there? It would be interesting to hear their take on development and innovation. |

Court, not that I saw. A little note I shared on FB regarding the event: Over the weekend, my local EBR Dealer, Dreyer South Powersports, hosted an EBR Reunion event complete with a great showing of Buells and EBRs, an awesome stunt show with JBX Freestyle and an appearance and presentation by the man himself, Erik Buell. I have met Erik many times over the years of my fanboi like love of buells and EBRs, and each and everytime I am more and more impressed with him, the company, his passion on building the best motorcycles America has ever created, and his ability to engage with his fans and sign every single thing they bring up. Watching Erik speak about the ZTL wheel and braking system was amazing; the amount of passion, intelligence, and out of the box thinking he exerts is incredible. Erik, who we all know is no longer a young man, rode down from East Troy to Indianapolis on his own personal 1190SX; not only did he ride down, but he took all back roads (and dodged the rain) which led to a ride of over 8 hours. The next day he stood around the dealership at dreyer for six hours, engaging each and every person that wanted to talk to him as well as signing at least a thousand different things! Then Erik, after all that, knowing that one of his faithful was recently injured, rode (in the rain) to a local hospital in Indy to visit on of my very best friends that suffered incredible injuries in a motorcycle accident a couple weeks ago. After surprising my friend about the road to recovery, and truly making his day, Erik then rode all the way back to Wisconsin. I know I'm being long winded here, but I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Erik and the Elves at EBR for building these machines, against all odds, that ignite our passion for motorcycling. Without this passion, and likely these motorcycles, I wouldn't know half the people I know today nor have the circle of friends I do. Take a minute, pause, and think about that; think about the adventures, memories, and friends you have made on your Buell / EBR / etc, and give a thanks to the man and his team that led to that. Thank you, Erik Buell. |

Nice. Erik visiting your injured friend does not surprise me in the least. Exceptional People do Exceptional Things. |

Typical, amazing and consistent. That is precisely the type of behavior I've been blessed enough to be witness to since 1987. The first time that Erik and has family came to my house to visit in Topeka . . he jumped on his personal red, white and blue RS1200 and rode the 500 miles, through the night, to Topeka. We had most the Buell owners there (at that time, all the Buell owners in the world could fit in a Ford van, and rode to lunch in my station wagon since it was pouring rain. Both Willie G, along with wife Nancy and Rich Teerlink, his wife and daughter Victoria were also there and I confessed . . . following that . . . I was convinced and conscripted to a life of Buell advocacy. Not a single bad memory. You've had glimpse as to why. I could tell you about 50 similar stories. Erik is absolutely as genuine as he appears. |

Sounds like the Erik I've had the good fortune to meet on a few occasions. Truly an amazing man. (Message edited by Ratbuell on September 20, 2016) |

A great time was had by all. It was a great day after the rain cleared, and I had a great time seeing old friends and hanging out with "The Faithful" once again. P.S. The next time you talk to Erik, ask him what kind of brakes the Asteroid Scooters will have. |
