I'm still trying to wrap my head around how different a 2008 XB12XT feels from a 2007 XB12X.

Sexiest: S2. Just look at the curves...

Raw and brutal: S1W. No apologies, no real manners, just an unapologetic athlete.

Swiss-Army-Bike: XB12X. Does it all.

The M2 also deserves credit as a "gateway" bike. My '99 was a whopping $9200 MSRP and for the money it's a TON of bike. And the whole Rotax family of bikes are a quantum leap forward. I've got 10k on my CR and its like an S1W with double the HP.

But for "best"...I'm gonna have to go S2. 21 years old and I don't have to change my riding style when I saddle up. It does everything the others do. It may not be as fast, but it sure as hell handles as good as anything today and I can still load it down like a pack mule for a 4 day camping/riding trip through the hills of WV. 5th is tall enough for superslab; the others work great in twisties; position is comfortable and the mini fairing is perfect. If they build an 1190S2...I'd force Erik to take my money!!

X1 with a race kit.
A bike for the criminally insane if ever there was one.

The Ulysses is the best bike for me but I still admire all the tubers from the early days especially the ST3.
Never really cared for the Rotex motors and I don't really know why but I just didn't care foot them.
Never ridden the new 1190's yet but from sitting on them I don't think I'd feel comfortable on one!
