I know they are supposed to wear out eventually and be replaced.
Anyone have a guideline for how long that generally takes?

My X1 sensor has well over 70,000 on it and the Ulys has over 50,000 on it.

Would I have anything tangible to gain in replacing them?
They both seem to run OK.

If you are not experiencing the check engine light coming on with 02 sensor dtc, and the bike still gets 50 mpg.
I'd leave it alone.
That said: My '06 had random 02 sensor dtcs for 3 or 4 years. The bike didn't seem to care as it ran just fine and I never got less than 50mpg.

I finally replaced the 02 sensor when replacing the fan, as the 02 sensor is right there... I think around 28k miles.

I'd probably replace them next time I was planning other work.
