She has aged well, and I'd wager that the infield is clear of debris these days. |

I'm playing with the idea of swapping my workdays around next week... anyone who might have an unused bed, post up, maybe I can figure it out. I'm severely jonesing for a BRP ride on the Beemer, dangit! |

I got a room with a single bed, if it comes down to it, you're welcome to the floor space. |

Dammit, Brad, one of these years you are going to actually PLAN to be at BITA!!! |

@ Matthew- thanks buddy, I'd be fine with that, and sharing costs/bartering/whatever. @ Hugh- Yeah, yeah, I know. Kind of the nature of my work, plus it's slow now, and I'm kinda broke. I know I could do it on the cheep, just gotta get things lined up. I'm prepared to use a fallback position for the $$$, NBD. I kinda pattern these trips like Vern does. As HAWWWTTT as it has been lately, I'd love an easy roll up/down the BRP, with a few strategic creek/watering hole dips to cool off. Sure do wish the Skyline had a pool... |

I kinda pattern these trips like Vern does. Ohhh now Brad.....that is almost kind of like saying it is my fault you cannot make up your mind two months ahead of time! Things are again like shifting sand. I have so much to do before winter. Talk about planning ahead! For some of us life is like riding around in a blender set on high, occasionally a little something will slip past the lid and get you a time out. |

Brad, just show up and I'll make sure you have a roof over your head and food in your belly. You have no excuse now. Tell your overlords that you simply must attend this Black Lives Matter rally in Little Switzerland, and if they try to deny you then you can sue them for racial discrimination. Solved. |

Sure! We planned on being there. Booked our rooms months ago. Then the sands all shifted and we had to cancel. Pwnzor, I was really hoping to meet you in person, and see where discussion would go over a beer(s). You seem like a character I would like. Someday... I seem to remember that you had plans to be at BITA last year when the sands shifted. I guess life is like that. |

Tom is correct, I've actually planned to be there the last two years in a row, and life got in the way. This year, life has tried to get in the way again, but I'm pushing the issue. Gretchen will handle things while I'm out of town. I'm not letting it happen a third time. I know it's not always possible for people to get away, but hey... there's always West Virginia, Buelltoberfest, and of course Glitch Badness! |

I am happy to say... this time next week I will be having coffee and waiting on my buddy Doug to show up so we can head south. We will stop at Ben and Joy's in Mt.Sterling, Ohio for some breakfast then head across route 56, pick up 23 south and roll on the throttle. |

Mark- I'm headed up Sunday the 24th; I'll be there the whole week with wife and dogs (the Skyline is pet-friendly in case anyone's interested). |

Matthew- I'm plugging as best I can... at the very least, holler if you pass through town Friday, and I'll take you to a SUPERB place for lunch! Hoping to hash things out by the first of the week- forecast locally shows a good chance of rain by Thursday/Friday, which actually sounds pretty awesome- if I had to roll slower on the BRP in relative coolness on the R75, I'd LOVE it. Too dang HOT around here. |

From my house, it's a straight shot up I-85 to Little Switzerland. While having lunch with you sounds great, it adds over 100 miles to my trip, loaded with saddlebags on a bike that wasn't designed for them... so I'll see you at Skyline, Mr. Man! |

By this time next week, my kickstand will be in the UP position. A portion of this weekend will be spent trying to get my saddlebags to stay in place, oil change, and maybe try to fab up some brackets for my carbon X1 windscreen. I can't wait. |

Put the seat and the side covers back on the DR last night. Might try to wash it before I head that way. I'm looking to seeing everyone and a few days away from work. |

I did front and rear tires (changed back to Pirellis after ~4 years on Michelins), installed "new" front forks after changing fork oil and seals, and new front brake pads last week and weekend. The forks completed the conversion of my XB12X into an XB12XT; I had done the rear shock and kickstand a few months ago. I'm REALLY looking forward to trying it out in the twisties. I'll scout out the local road conditions and eateries this week. 226A (the road right in front of the hotel) was paved just before last year's meet IIRC, so I'm sure it's in excellent condition. |

Hugh, the roads around there are perfect! We just sampled them a week ago. Swing by at the house when you get up here! |

If anyone has an EBR banner/shipping crate cover they could bring to the meet so we can hang it up, I'd really appreciate it. I have the Buell signage covered. |

FYI I will be providing real-time GPS tracking of our riding excursions. Everywhere we go, all of BadWeB will be able to follow the action. |

I've got a loner EBR banner coming next week, so we'll be well-marked for the meet. |

Just figured out that my saddlebags will not work on my current bike, and my straps are all missing off my old tank bag. So... ordered some new straps and a 24-liter tail bag. The saddlebags hang right over all 4 exhaust tips, no way to avoid it with these oversize bags. So back on the shelf they go, to wait for the next bike to come along or some needy individual. |
