Finally got around to doing this today. Admittedly the "brackets" I've made are rudimentary, but they are functional, and it matches my front fender. Total cost for both carbon fiber pieces = $77.00 Thanks again to Scott (Oddalloy) for sending me pictures of his brackets, even making vinyl stencils and mailing them to me. I had to modify the design slightly but without his help I would have had to spend a LOT more time on this. |

Nice job! You should put an EBR sticker on it- that would flummox quite a few motorcyclists. |

That looks cool! Almost like the factory should have done it. Styling by Buell and Matthew. |

Purty pup! Oh, and nice windscreen. BTW, be ready to throw on your rainsuit when you ride up to BITA- rain chances Friday for my region are at 50%. |

Thanks! I keep going out to the garage to look at it... my wife thinks I'm nuts. Little things matter to me. |

That's when you know that you've got the right bike for you. |

I originally bought it for commuting purposes when my XB12R started having electrical problems every other day and could no longer be relied upon for daily use. I got it for $6000 out the door brand new, and the dealer threw in a helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. It has morphed from this: To this: And now into what you see at the beginning of this thread. It has proven to be a very capable bike, and with the mods you can't see (Power Commander, K&N Air Filter) it is really more than I need. The next bike will definitely be a road couch of some kind. Kawasaki Vaquero is at the top of the list. |

Those Vaqueros are pretty dang nice! Only seen one or two up close, but the Kaw peeps have figured out both style and substance on that rig. IIRC there have been some very good reviews of it too. |

I've test ridden a few of those bikes from the Vaquero to the Voyager with the bigger bags and full fairing, etc... Very nice, indeed. Half the price of a Hardley. |
