I'm 100% OK with being a sheep, when Jesus is my shepherd. NOT when a human is. I don't care what human it is, I'm not OK with it. I've worked in muslim, Buddhist, Catholic and Hindu countries, side by side with the locals. Where is the xenophobia in that? It's funny how, when someone hates conservatives, they label them as "hateful" or other similar adjectives. It's like when black supremacists complain about white people as a whole being racist. |

Thank you for the push toward the liberal side and atheism over the years boys Who's the sheep now, eh? You should try humility some time. It just might suit you. I'm 100% OK with being a sheep, when Jesus is my shepherd. Amen, brother. Sold my 1125R and now have gone to BMW. This site really helped me with my decision. Oh, I too will never give a cent to this site. And yet, here you are. We're all so despicable, you just can't help yourself and keep coming back. Don't worry, the rest of us will support you. Since you have never learned anything useful here, and never been helped by anybody, why should you contribute? |

Trump will wipe the floor with Crooked Hillary,.. he started on her today after her press conference,,, he will rip her to shreds thru out the summer (Not undeservingly either). All this rhetoric from Trump... is only for the freaking campaign... it's publicity to get his votes. And rightly so. It's also politics. Maybe a tad ungentlemanly?? But one thing I like about him is he doesn't take no crap from nobody and he gives it right back to them and they don't like it at all. Just wait till Trump unloads on Crooked Hillary... it will make what he did to his fellows candidates like he was from Mr. Rogers neighborhood. Of course, when it's all said and done... the rhetoric will diminish and he will be our President. Yup, no way around it, Trump is going to be the next President of the United States of America... |

On a personal level, I don't like Trump. But, I love that ... The liberals hate him The mainstream media hates him The illegals hate him The Obamas hate him The Clintons hate him The Republican Elite/ Establishment hate him The Politically Correct hate him All of the above makes me watch all this stuff going on right now with a strange smile on my face. |

Same here Mac, except for #6, in which... I agree only partially and worry about what he will do when he is in office. I mean... I can imagine him speaking directly to his new audience (every American citizen on the planet!!) and stating something like: "OH, and... btw,.. that thing you wanted me to do, that I said I would do... when I was campaigning... well... I cant do it". Next question??? Oh,.. and that other thing..?? We will have to postpone that,... NEXT QUESTION... (that's what I am afraid of) But at least we know he will give it to us straight and not weasel around the issue and lie and drag out the answers like Obama and Hillary or almost any other typical politician. Obama is doubling down with his dividing... I am so sick of seeing the President NOT even trying to bring this country together. He doesn't speak to me. (I have said that before) Now he is starting to campaign for Hillary?? But.. I guess that's what you get when you elect a community organizer. And Hillary?? I want to gag myself with the spoon or puke or throw something at the tv whenever I hear Hillary's voice. She is so fake its unbelievable. I so hope to see her in a orange suit. she is the mosty disgusting person on TV,... I would rather watch the Kardashians. |

Sometimes things happen that can lead us to react in deference to emotion over reason. Other times we might be mislead or just plain lacking the actual facts. Good people appreciate being challenged and offered new information. Conflating substantive criticisms of a political ideology or a religion with hating people is one such emotion-driven misapprehension, and it runs rampant today. Oppose open borders? You hate Mexicans. Oppose totalitarian islamism? You're an islamophobe and hate Muslims. Oppose big govt and its Marxist ideology? You're a greedy racist. Some folks just cannot separate disagreement or criticism from personal attack. Refusing to recognize such a mistake, but rather clinging to it in order to justify actual hatefulness and hostility towards people is just amazing. Hostility makes the world a much worse place. Love God. Love People. Compared to Christ, we're all scumbags. Thankfully our creator doesn't view us so dimly. We're all fixable. |

I too have taken notice of Trump's enemies and came to the conclusion that there is some truth to the saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend - in the sense that we can work together to release this country from the grip of the progressive liberals. I also came across this quote recently: "I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it." Voltaire |

Looking back over decades of elections I'm hard pressed to recall candidates I respect. In the current debacle I liked Carly and Ben a bit but both failed. Ben because he was ill equipped for gotcha questions. I still can't figure Carly's fail unless it was the leadership that dumped on her. Ted had respect but was too easily baited by Donald. Before? Nixon? Alas, after keeping his promise to get us out of Johnson's disaster in Vietnam, ( forgot that eh? ) his administration was hammered by congress. You hear the propaganda on how the R's wouldn't give Barry anything? Besides a lie, even if true nothing compared to Tricky Dick. The 55 mph national speed limit is a good example. Nixon wanted a temporary 45 limit during the Arab revenge oil crisis. Congress made it 55 & permanent. ...... Reagan? Cowboy actor. ( yeah.... won the Cold war and fixed the economy but when elected was ridiculed big time ) Dole? Dukakis? Ford? Seriously? So I'm used to not liking candidates. & even worse despise the winners. For my adult life. In that context Hillary is far worse than the clown who brands his silverware. |

Having mailed off my absentee ballot yesterday, I was reminded of H. L. Mencken yet again:
quote:H. L. Mencken Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule--and both commonly succeed, and are right... The United States has never developed an aristocracy really disinterested or an intelligentsia really intelligent. Its history is simply a record of vacillations between two gangs of frauds.

At least some of the folk... who think like Pelosi ... may indeed vote for Trump... because they have to vote for him to see how he will act... what he will do... away from the fog of the media... once he becomes President. It's what they do. |

>>>Some folks just cannot separate disagreement or criticism from personal attack. I consider that the by-prodcut of the relative anonymity of the internet coupled with the workings of the less wise and educated. My daily routine puts me into situations where very smart folks hold widely disparate views on things and how problems might best be solved. Listening is both a skilled, that needs practiced, and a gift that needs cherished. I agree, in terms of politics, with very few of those I love. But . . I love them anyway. Kooks. :-) |

I'm in the position of being unable to influence the outcome of the election yet directly influenced by it's outcome, so I've been taking a keen interest. Here's a few things I'm thinking about; What it'll mean to me as an individual, what it will mean to my country of residence (the nice neighbour to the north), what it will mean to my friends in the US, and also the world in general. I feel that overall Trump will be better for America than Clinton, however that's not necessarily better for Canadians in the short term, but a healthy USA has to be a better neighbour than a chaotic one. When all's said and done though, it's a case of least worst option, you guys really do need to have a clear out & get some serious sensible leadership. |

Trump. . .while he has been an entertaining diversion . . is pretty well dead in the water. His funding is evaporating and his kids and a 27 year old are pretty much calling the shots. He makes fun footage to watch . . . but as a candidate the snowball in hell is well ahead of him. We really deserve better. |

That is another good article. And it's a characteristic of leadership I have often seen effective in a bureaucracy. Throw down a BHAG that is ultimately sound, extend it to ridiculous extremes, and make people react and work toward them and see how far they get. |

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jul/14/be ware-the-george-soros-zombies/ Brave New Films, which received $250,000 from Mr. Soros‘ foundation, tried to make waves for Republicans by creating misinformation about their convention through social media. Brave New Films is a social media “quick-strike capability” company that uses media, films, volunteers and internet video campaigns to “challenge mainstream media with the truth, and motivates people to take action on social issues nationwide,” according to its website. In a Facebook posting, Brave New Films bragged about driving a fake internet campaign — a petition to allow for open carry at the convention — into the mainstream media. The petition was reported on as if Republicans wanted it, however, it was simply created by a liberal, Soros troll. “And the 2016 internet Troll Of The Year Award goes to some genius from Ohio using pseudonym: the Hyperationalist,” Brave New Media wrote on their Facebook page, congratulating the original scammer. “When Washington Post and other mainstream media write about your act in a serious way — you won. Respect!” “For the record: we are proud that we helped a bit, delivering over 30,000 clicks to the original petition,” Brave New Media added. Deceit and lies — that’s what these groups are up to — and they’re using the mainstream media as their pawns. MoveOn.org is also planning activity. They proudly took responsibility for shutting down Mr. Trump’s rally in Chicago in March, and fundraised off their success. So, how do we count the weirdness? Cleveland is going to to invaded by paid rioters. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/cleveland-activists-wary -city-plans-process-thousands-arrests-005844889.ht ml If the Mayor decides to follow the lead of Baltimore's moron, the city will burn. He doesn't seem that stupid, but I could be wrong. Philadelphia looks like it might actually be a big grass roots protest, as the Bernie fans object to Hillary stealing the nomination. ( they could be right about that ) But there will also be a big draw for Bernie fans to protest Donald. So, my current bet is the R convention will be more violent, with more broken glass and injured. OTOH Cleveland is going to be a major target for Islamofascists so there could be some bad times George Soros didn't even pay for. But I'm terrible about predicting details. I can easily predict the broad stroke of terrorism. Malls, running trucks or SUVs through crowds, ( has happened before ) IED's, Clubs, Churches, all pretty easy to guess will be targets & tactics. WHICH mall, is another story. So Philly could get the Jihad attack instead of Cleveland, or both. |
