Thinking I'll be headed up to Boston in a few weeks. Looking for suggestions on places to eat, stay, and see. Likewise, places to avoid. I know that if this all works out and I fly up, that we'll be going to see a band play in Cambridge on the 12th, But outside of that Im wide open. Thanks yall |

What would you like to do? If anything I always tell folks to visit the USS Constitution. https://ussconstitutionmuseum.org/support/?gclid=C J6klIart80CFYIlgQoddAkDRQ Oldest active naval vessel in the world. Where in Cambridge are you seeing the show? The Middle East? Let me know what you're into and I can probably help and maybe join you. If you're going to be here the week of July 4th then I will not be able to join, I'll be in Japan. |

Ok so you'll have to walk the Freedom Trail and do a tour on the Duck Boats. http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/ http://www.bostonducktours.com/ Boston is a very small big city. Everything is close and usually within walking distance or right off the T. The T is the VERY OLD subway system here. About an hour south you have Battleship Cove which is near where I live. http://www.battleshipcove.org/ You have Plymouth Rock but it is just a rock, nothing fancy but that's where the Mayflower replica is. http://www.seeplymouth.com/things-to-do/plymouth-r ock Also there is Plimouth Plantation. http://www.plimoth.org/ Are you flying in or driving up? I have an extra bike and can take you for a ride around Cape Cod. |

Durgin Park near Faneuil Hall is a not to be missed place for Laurie and me and it has been open for more than one hundred years. The lobster and bone-in prime rib is excellent. There is communal dining with long tables where we have met some interesting people. |

>>I have an extra bike and can take you for a ride around Cape Cod. Hahahaha . . . wish I'd known. I've been haunting Somerville, right off campus . . . last week I was up in Vermont and New Hampshire and this week back in the Hudson Valley. I'm about to conclude there really aren't any "un-gorgeous" areas of the Northeast. |

Actually I have a couple of extras. S1, S3 and the XB12R. I'm always up for a ride if you're ever around this way. My number is in the BRAN. |

Kelly's Roast Beef on Revere Beach. One of the best Roast Beef sandwiches you'll ever eat (I prefer mine with cheese and BBQ sauce and a side order of onion rings). Your taste buds will worship you. |

It's looking like i'll use AirBNB for this trip, as hotels are very high there! The ones that arent expensive are questionable at best ha I'll look into the bbq place posted above, any other suggestions are welcomed!! |

Blue Ribbon Bbq in Newton is pretty good. I used to work with the guy that runs this site. Should have all the local places here with pictures. http://www.pigtrip.net/ |
