I'm all for Gays having equal rights. Everyone should have equal rights. There was a girl in camp last year... she started screaming at me because I used the wrong Pronoun talking about how Brave Bruce Jenner was to come out.... And then screaming at me for calling him Bruce, ( I couldn't remember what he wanted to be called ) and then screaming how F*&ing EVIL I WAS when I suggested she complain about gays being publicly torture/murdered in Tehran.... Just look at who they have just voted to be their Presidential nominee. They have to attack Republicans at a time like this to deflect the fact that the scumbag who just slaughtered 50 innocent people was in fact, one of their own... AGAIN! Why is it that almost all of these shootings are done by registered Democrats? Then they feel the need to turn their hate toward Republicans. Yesterday while traveling I was behind a guy with a rainbow peace sign and a "coexist" sticker on the back of his car. I couldn't help but wonder if he could begin to see the irony. | ||

When I am accused of being stupidly violent and a fool to my face, the accuser, while he would deny this, is knowingly lying. Bullies are cowards. If I was indeed a stupidly violent fool he would not dare say so out of fear I would hurt him. But he knows better on some level. I must be a civilized disciplined adult or he would not be safe making such accusations. It's dishonesty on multiple levels. Self delusion, lie to gain power, slander for fun, evil at root and branch. I'm sure that many "conservatives" have the same reaction, often, as well spoken above. "I don't approve of X but no one should attack any X with violence. All should be protected and equal in the law." That "conservative" may be willing to argue vehemently the reasons folk who are X should behave differently, & could be right or wrong on that honest conviction. I seldom hear any approval for violence against any group except groups publicly sworn to violence against others, from "right wing" folk. Yes, some pundits and obvious jerks will blow hot air, but while I may hear anger over murderous acts and frustrated "kill them all, let God sort them out" in general..... somewhat rational. Even the most furious Christians will calm down when reminded of the principles they hold dear. Otoh. I often hear naked glee when a Leftist reports on hideous carnage and blames their political enemies with zero data or even in the face of overwhelming evidence. These people don't play by the rules of civil discourse. Call the liars on it. Every time. Never let falsehood prevail. | ||
