For those of you who went on the group ride on Saturday, 30 July over to NC-80/"the Devil's Whip", Blind Kenny has our photos up: http://photos.blindkenny.com/p354098184 Matthew, you're on this page, along with the KTM rider that accompanied us: http://photos.blindkenny.com/p385678422 (Message edited by Hughlysses on August 02, 2016) |

What the heck was that tuber chassis with the custom fairing and uly windscreen and PM wheels? It looks kind of half done, but the attention to detail also looks really good, and the fabrication on it appears to be pretty sophisticated. |

Cool... too bad we were behind a traffic jam when we came around that corner. I'd have loved to get a picture at higher speed with a little more lean to it. |

^ I've had pictures taken probably 8 or 10 times at that location. It's pretty common to get stuck behind cagers by that point, but even when I felt like I was 1/8" from dragging pegs, the pic would look like I was taking a leisurely cruise up the road. That seems like a far-from-optimum photo spot, but I'm sure it's one of the very few places there's room for him to set up. I went back Sunday by myself, and of course, got stuck behind a slow SUV on the best part of the road, but they did finally pull over shortly before the photo location. I'm hoping that pic turns out a little better. |

Interesting bike, but he wasn't at our meet! Maybe next year I should go up a couple of months early and put a sign up on NC-80 advertising the meet to try and catch a few stray Buell riders. |

Thanks Hugh for setting up this event. It was fun. One take away for me was the sound of the "Buell bee hive" when every one stopped riding and the cooling fans were buzzing. I made it Pisgah National Forest's Linville Gorge Wilderness on Sunday. Thanks to you Ohio guys for pointing me in the right direction to do a bit of Uly off roading. And I did pick up my cupcakes from Lynn on Sunday evening. She told me she asked a bunch of you guys if I was coming back. |

Got them from Visions In Cake Bake Shop. Next to the Subway on hwy 226, just short of the ABC store. Highly recommended spot to get the best in baked goods. |
