Since Buell does not exist as a company anymore can anyone just make these and sell them? And Harley has allowed this kind of thing since they shut Buell down. They expressly said they would not spend money protecting Buell intellectual property. The quantities that Buells were made it won't likely make any moratorium an issue. I posted the pages from the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) showing nearly all the Buell IP rights being abandoned. But . . . be mindful . . that's a completely different arena that any parts supply issues.
