Okay, so I'm in the market for a decent rain jacket. Problem is I'm a really big guy. Like 4lx-6xl (gut size 64),depending on the manufacturer. I've looked all over, but haven't found one that both fits, and has a good waterproof rating. Any suggestions?

I suggest Aerostitch.
If you get on the phone with them, they can get your build, riding style, blood type....

Costly but all-weather and lasts a long time.

'Stitch or someone else who can do a "bespoke" job for ya. I dunno if Klim would have your size, but I've liked my summer riding pants and most everyone who's tried them likes their stuff.

I've two good friends who run a dual sport outfitter's shop- betcha a dollar they can help! Call Megan and Francois at Dual Sport Touring here in Friendsville TN- 865-995-9505.
They carry Klim and many other good brands, and even advise the manufacturers on design and features occasionally.

Post up as you figure things out!

Worth every penny and will last forever . . . .

I've got all Aerostich and remain . . having ridden Buells since 1987 . . . at how damn good their stuff is.

Aerostitch.... I have longed dreamed of getting one, but not sure my budget can handle it. At the same time I don't want cheap frog toggs either. I'm going for a balance between the two.

I actually found a site that has big mans rain gear, but it is geared toward hunters. I may have to go with something non-moto specific. I use a Bruns jacket most of the time anyway, guess I could throw a great big camo shell over the top of it.

If you can't afford Aerostitch then check these guys out.

British Motorcycle Gear makes some nice jackets and pants. It's the only place I could find rain pants in real waist/length sizes. Their jackets look nice and this one is pretty reasonable. It's a summer jacket yet it's rain proof. I only own the pants but the quality looked real good.
