I'm getting jealous of the imminent dual-sport action.
My neighbor is giving me a KLR650... yes, you read that correctly... giving me, free-gratis, no compensation required, a KLR650.
It needs some work, probably piston rings and whatever, who knows, but I don't care! The price is right, and these mountains are just begging me to ride to places I haven't been yet. |

Been jonesing for a D/S for a LONG time now, what with all the great riding around my home! And, back when I was bicycling both road and dirt, doing 2 wheels in both environments enhances your skills in both... I'm sure with MC's the same is true.

Not gonna make it. Working and trying to get back to an over due special project, and got family stuff to do tomorrow.
If you guys are passing through the area and timing is such, I'd be happy to meet you somewhere for breakfast, lunch or dinner, how ever it works out. Here or a hundred miles out, it doesn't matter. Let me know if you can. |

Sorry to say... I didn't check Badweb once I hit the road.
Doug and I went to Dave & Ann's home away from home yesterday.
Glad we got to see them and hope we get to see them again in August.
Hearing him tell the tale of all the support he and Ann got from Badweb confirms why I love this place.
Now if I could just give Dave about 50 pounds of my girth...
