It's a neat idea. It solves a lot of issues that keep people off of motorcycles. I always wonder what these sorts of vehicles do when pushed past their designed lean angle. I would imagine it just starts loading the outside tire at that point, much like a car suspension would. I assume these things steer much like a motorcycle, and not like other three wheelers. Most buyers probably wont care that the front is going to be way to heavy for wheelies. It sure looks like it will deliver most of the "motorcycle experience" though. |

Why are all the "Modern" bikes styled like the designers were inspired by a bowl of razor blades? |

The designers were inspired in the morning while shaving. |

Unlike the can am spyder, which I detest, I believe that one actually leans into turns at least |

Random thoughts: 1.) Looks like 16" front wheels to reduce steering effort; which might still be an issue for some, depending on the front-end geometry. 2.) Instead of "trike-ifying," I wonder how many would consider this kind of arrangement for a Gold Wing? It'd have to be an OEM thing; can't imagine someone attempting a kit. 3.) How about a side-by-side springer front end for the cruiser market? Twice the chrome! |

Years ago I read a story, IIRC in MCN, about a mechanical engineer out West somewhere who designed, patented, and marketed a bolt-on kit for the front ends of HD FL series bikes... it allowed for leaning into turns too. I'm pretty sure there are more than a few kits available to produce this effect. I was impressed at the time about that guy's skill and the end result of that kit. |

Oh, and I also once read of another guy who built a rig that allowed a 48 degree lean angle for his ice racer bike! THAT was SO cool... but imagine TWO SPIKED front tires chewing toward you on that ice track!

Since this post I started looking into getting a Piaggio MP3 again, now I really want either this thing or the MP3. I found an older 250cc MP3 cheap, I might end up doing that. The 500 Sport with ABS would be sweet though. |

The guy out west has a site up for his reverse trike. Looks interesting to me. but they are pricey. http://www.tiltingmotorworks.com/ |
