Thanks for your input. As the title of the thread indicates, I remembered hearing about this, but had never seen this little tidbit of information.
This came up because of a discussion at work regarding the death penalty. The state of Georgia is executing people at a fairly rapid pace. While I am not against the death penalty, I am opposed to the system by which it is administered as a whole.
Then I see this video and it amazes me that a kid could be so incredibly f*d up.
Why do we care if they feel some discomfort as they're dying? If we're sure enough that they're guilty to put them to death (you have to commit a particularly brutal crime to get the death penalty) why are we concerned about their comfort as justice/punishment is being carried out?
