Wow this is topical, if we had a time machine and went back almost 3 years!

Very sad. Everyone involved needs prayers, including the shooter.

He's not very muscular. His sphincter will be getting a daily workout.

Not that I remember. This was all over the news around here at the time obviously, but it's been a while.

Thanks for your input. As the title of the thread indicates, I remembered hearing about this, but had never seen this little tidbit of information.

This came up because of a discussion at work regarding the death penalty. The state of Georgia is executing people at a fairly rapid pace. While I am not against the death penalty, I am opposed to the system by which it is administered as a whole.

Then I see this video and it amazes me that a kid could be so incredibly f*d up.

We have it in Ohio, but they are having legal fights over people feeling pain or not when they get the injection.

Besides he was 17 at the time so there's no way he would have got it anyway...

Why do we care if they feel some discomfort as they're dying? If we're sure enough that they're guilty to put them to death (you have to commit a particularly brutal crime to get the death penalty) why are we concerned about their comfort as justice/punishment is being carried out?

Build an artificial womb. Inside the womb, you can tear the lumps of tissue to pieces, regardless of pain. It's a basic human right.

Good Idea. The left surely wouldn't have an issue with such a method of execution. Oh wait, they're hypocrites, so...yes, they would.
