I doubt you could use a ramp on the tail gate after that mod. It would be lacking any structural integrity. I assume it's like my truck where the gate lifts off very easily. You can also find tail gates in junk yards pretty cheap, so it might be something that gets swapped in just for that purpose. It's kind of slick, kind of WTF? | ||

Wouldn't take much to weld in enough structure to strengthen the gate and a cable for the latch. The gate was already dinged up.
