I've got his greatest hits CD and the Black Tie/White Noise too- I'll be picking up Black Star soon. All the tracks that Omar Hakim played drums on are stunningly beautiful... IIRC he made David Sanborn break big on the sax... I got to head down to Atlanta with a buddy, driving our boss' Yugo (!), to see Bowie on a twin bill with Trent Reznor- what a show! Afterward, we'd wanted to head to little 5 points and go clubbing, but my dim friend had forgotten his ID... Losing Lemmy and David both to the big C sucks. Then again, none of us gets out of this world alive.
