So alittle about me I started playing when I was 10
Played my first show out at 14 and at 17 a senior in high school I was up to 50,000 at Milwaukee metal fest.
I hold a music degree for classical and Jazz.
I built most of my basses and some guitars Not from a kit this was a trial and error learning curve my lasy bass I built after touring for 2 years sold for $2700 and it played like a dream.

Here are some pics forgive me it was the 80's

Guild pilot fretless and 1/4 of my hartke rig I had 4 stacks

A warlock style I made for my guitar player

My Charvel with custom pick ups, kahler, and scallopped frets

Me with my custom flame maple bass yes I made it.

Me with my Fender

Some of my guitars

My brother plays bass, he's in an Iron Maiden tribute band now. He plays nothing but Rickenbacher axes.

Me.........I just hang with musicians behind my drumset.

I wish I cloud play a fretless... well, I "could" but it would sound terrible... (unless that was the sound I was going for lol. I have no feeling in 2 fingers on left hand, so I need the frets and I need look at fret board 70% of the time...

I have been listening to a local jazz/classical station Wrti from Phila : http://wrti.org/
I think they play classical all day and Jazz at night or something. But you can stream either anytime (not sure of sound quality)

I am liking listening to jazz more and more because it is pretty much recorded raw with very minimal processing, some recordings are 3 mics or less in a room and you get the feeling your right there. Like any music you have to be in the mood, like, during rush hour, I tend to like Ministry but can only take so much of those guys. My ears hurt after 3 songs.
