The two Victory Concepts left me cold. They both look like Indian Scouts with PAINFULLY located exhaust systems. I swear, if you ride either one you are guaranteeing yourself a second or third degree burn on your right leg. Do these guys RIDE their creations, or just build them? Sheesh. They did have the Project 156 bike which DOESN'T use the Scout frame (the Ignition and the Combustion both obviously use a variation of the Scout frame) and I can't help but wonder what a REAL production version of that bike would look like. The Vision still has those lame excuses for saddlebags, so one more year where I WON'T be getting one of those. And if you want the REAL saddle on the K1600GTL you have to cough up $30K for the "Exclusive" model. The regular GTL gets the same poor saddle design they've had since the beginning. All in all, I was pretty underwhelmed at this year's showing. Oh, Yamaha did have Lorenzo's M1 on display. I felt it was missing a giant ASTERISK next to it, but that's just me... |

Sadly, no Ural (and I really wanted to see them, too). Nothing from the Piaggio group either (no Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, or Vespa). No MV Agusta or Royal Enfield either. |

Thanks for the report. Makes me feel a little better seeing as the IMS is skipping DC this year. |

Were the new Triumph 1200 twins there? |

I don't think Triumph was OFFICIALLY there, just a local dealer with some models to display. If they were there, they had a pitifully small display... |
