I have a Buell branded tank bag that can with the bike when I bought it from Slowride. The main zipper finally came apart and the bag is pretty much a total loss. Does anyone one know who was the original supplier for the Buell tank bags?

saddleman maybe? ... if you want to get just the zipper replaced, search local to yourself for a 'tent shop' or a store that deals in fabrics/zippers/snaps.
a motorcycle gear-specific shop will also be able to help you out, but they will likely have a smaller selection of supplies with a larger price tag for similar services rendered.

ive had some jacket zippers replaced and holster snaps riveted on for less than a dollar each at my local store

I just had a heavy duty zipper replaced at a local upholstery shop in a HMMWV door,$50 including the zipper.

Not sure it's worth the money. It's pretty beat up. Good advice about zipper repair though... Thanks.

Easy.

I have zippers replaced fairly often by my local shoe shop. They've done my Buell backpack at least 3 times.

Zane,
If you are giving up on the bag, mail it this way. (smiley face/cheesing)
