I'm looking for input to upgrade the fork internals of an 1125. They are stock now.

I was thinking of the traxxion dynamics Axxion valves and rebuild that totals about $675. They also have a AK20 cartridge that drops in for about $1100. Apparently these both have the same valves but one uses your modified cartridge and the other replaces the entire internals with closer machined and anodized pieces.

Is it worth the extra expense? I like the fact you can remove the AK20 if the bike was sold. Does anyone know if these would fit in the 1190s BPF later?

I know Ohlins has the NIX 30 cartridge kit but they seem to be more bling for not much better if any performance and more $$.

What weight fluid do you use?

AK Gas would be great but out of the budget.

I'm an A class Trackday rider but don't race anymore.

I have a stock Ohlins TTX36 shock that seems to work well.

Traxxion Dynamics is good, had the AK20 cartridges on my xb12r, currently I use a 25mm cartridge kit from GP suspension on my 1125r, I have been satisfied with the performance of both. GP suspension had a bit more feel, but that might be because of the difference in the two bikes.

The carts won't transfer to a BPF fork.

I would work with one of your higher regarded trackside vendors. Their assistance while at the track can make the process much better, and when they know what the hardware is, much much better.

I'm using the Showa carts from EBR, that have been rebuilt by Trackside Suspension Engineering out of WI. Great group of people, very knowledgeable, reasonable prices.

I'm selling a set of the Showa bpf I bought from EBR, just refreshed at the beginning of the season.

Have been a great improvement over the stock forks.

Kruizen,

Please PM me the details of setup and price etc.

Any other options out there for a budget fork build?
