Crown done.

In a follow up I'm looking forward to four fillings and an inevitable wisdom tooth extraction is to come. Turns out all but one are lost.

I've been around a few folks in recovery and am not looking forward to it.

I've been going in on a dental visit every week. I'm looking forward to an end to it!

I am 3 yrs older but had my wisdom teeth removed 3 yrs ago so about the same age.

My lowers were compacted so that made it much worse.

Honestly, recovery was brutal. I have to talk on the phone a lot at work so that didn't help. If I had known it would be that bad, I would have taken a week off so I didn't have to talk. Just having the weekend was not enough, at least for me, but I hate pain, especially in my face/head.

Ice packs help, at least when you still have a cold one available. I had several at work and home which I rotated regularly. Even resorted to frozen veggies at times.

The wife has hated my wisdom teeth. She always told me they'd be trouble. It's a shame as they are big and beautiful.

As a youngin' I'd laugh at pain and injury. As I mature it's not as funny.

I'm familiar with that situation:

I never took my teeth that until reading about Glitch. Didn't mean to downplay your situation. Apologies if it came off badly.
